I was so impressed by Aer Lingus Vacation Store's hotel choices for my family when we went to Dublin and Limerick! We had the best locations and the amenities were great. The triple rooms were very accommodating and spacious. Also, the tours they arranged for us were very special and we all enjoyed them. The experience was much better than I imagined. Thank you!

Had a very positive experience with Aer Lingus. Booking and all correspondence was timely responded to. B&B's very nice except one. Plane seats much to close together, I am aware that more room can be purchased, but being that I have very tall, do not feel that I should have be penalized for my height and pay extra.

We were very excited about our first trip to Ireland and love staying in B&Bs. What we did not know was how limited our B&B choices would be thought the Aer Lingus Vacation Store. We were unable to stay in the town where my family was from and had to drive more than 20 minutes from the closest B&B available during our stay. When we got to the village we found many B&Bs available - just not through Aer Lingus. Next time we will book our B&Bs independently.

We found the Aer Lingus B&B booking process difficult, very little guidance on the website. As we booked our stays we had many questions and called customer service. The woman who answered the phone was rushed and rude. We were less than satisfied.

We found printing vouchers confusing as well. The site did not allow us to print individual vouchers for each B&B. Luckily we printed 2 and when we arrived at most B&Bs they accepted either our reservation number or made a copy. One B&B had no ability to copy and the host insisted on our paper copy leaving us with one more voucher for the rest of the trip. Be advised to carry multiple copies of vouchers!!!

Our car rental went smoothly however there is very little information on the vacation store to guide you through the insurance nightmare ... We did a lot of research before leaving and luckily had all paperwork in hand that proved we did not need to purchase the exorbitant insurance offered through Dan Dooley.

The vacation store web site needs up dating. We were disappointed in the user friendliness.

We will be going back to Ireland but will not be booking through Aer Lingus Vacation Store again.

We travel all over the word and you guys have been by far the very best. 5 starts are not enough for the excellent customer service, everything as "said", and the kindness of your staff. We will be back in the future and we have pointed many people in your direction since we returned home! You guys are the best!

On our flight from boston to shannon, one of the flight attendant treated everyone like an old school marm....cranky older woman.

Probably a good choice for simple situations but not at all good for complicated ones. Multiple calls and emails to get things straightened out, including a computer glitch that wouldn't let me retrieve vouchers. Probably wouldn't use it again for anything more complicated than two people traveling together and sharing a single room.

Our one week vacation ran like a fine rolex watch. It started and ended with a wonderful Aer Lingus flight over the atlantic. Auto rental, Hotel and B&B rooms were all great! Irish people are warm and friendly.

We bought a fly-drive package, but when we realized that we needed to make a few changes to our car rental we felt restricted. The insurance we added seemed quite expensive and it was a one size fits all kind of deal, so we would have preferred to shop around some. It would have been better to be able to price different car rental companies. But the flight and service on the flight were fine.

The addresses given by the B&B operator were not usable with a gps. It was very difficult to find most B&B's we stayed at.

An excellent Trip! Would use your service again. All B and B's were welcoming and comfortable with helpful owners.

The price was great, everything went smoothly, excellent vacation. Have already recommended your site to others.

Process was easy. Staff very helpful as I did call a few times since this was my first trip with Aer Lingus. Always helpful and answered all my questions. I plan to book through them again.

Great trip without a hitch- they send reminders things to know to avoid any issues, the web site choosing b&bs and tours is user friendly, if you do call very helpful and friendly we were not put on hold and with in minutes had answered all our questions- we will use agin great value on package!!👍😃

This is the most Important thing you need to know: Aerlingus airline and Aerlingus Vacation Store are two separate entities. And they don't interact seamlessly. This lead to many calls, some conflicting information, and much anxiety on the our part.

Unlike booking a flight, either through an airline or travel agencies like Expedia or Travelocity, if you book through the Aerlingus Vacation Store, you cannot check in online and there are no etickets. You must get your ticket at the airport on the day of your flight. To check in, you must call the airline directly. Waits to speak with an agent can and were long. You must also call the airline to order special meals and choose seating assignments.

The second most important thing to know: your Aerlingus Travel Store reservation number is different than your Aerlingus confirmation number. Always have both handy when contacting the Vacation Store or the airline.

Bottom line: If you can't stomach not being able to check in online and not getting your tickets until you arrive at the airport the day you travel, don't use the Aerlingus Vacation Store. If you can handle these issues, then do. The Vacation Store hotel vouchers and rail vouchers that we printed at home for our Ireland trip were accepted readily. Both my friend and I were on each voucher so we could check in together. Very easy and handy. Once past the hurdle of checking in, ordering meals and getting seat assignments by phone, we relaxed and had a great trip to Dublin, Galway, and Limerick by rail.

The 12 days through all of Ireland ( southern & northern) was an amazing adventure. Our tour guide, Peter, made the trip a complete cultural experience, sharing lots of history, facts, folklore, and even some poetry & short stories from famous Irish writers as we traveled. Beautiful scenic views and a real feel for the people and their country that have had many challenges through history. Learning more about the potato famine and mass emigration was very interesting and informative. Loved discovering more about my ancestors names and where they hailed from along the journey. Richard, our bus driver, was a very skilled driver- especially on the Ring of Kerry and its hairpin turns. He always was ready to go each morning and we had water at our seats- just the little things. This was by far one of the best tours we have been on!! Thanks so much!!

Our 5 day trip to Dublin through Aer Lingus Vacations was great. The flights to and from Dublin via JFK were painless; accommodations at the CityWest Hotel were very nice; and we had Plenty of time to plan events during our short stay. The CityWest Hotel is a bit far from downtown Dublin, but the LUAS train station is just a short walk away, and it's a very nice and scenic 30 minute ride downtown. RT fare is about 5 euros. We had a rental car to get to other places which we recommend. The Guinness factory tour is a must see, but we did none of the other discounted activities included with our package. I highly recommend taking the Viking Duck Boat tour of Dublin. It is worth ever penny and was the most enjoyable 75 minutes I spent downtown.

Over all, our vacation was great! Ireland is Heaven on earth!
But, I have a couple of small complaints. First, when we went to pick up our car rental from Dooley's, we had to wait close to two hours for an available car. It seems to me that a car reserved in January would be available in August with no problem. Second, and I'm sure you don't have any control over this, Aer Lingus should really think about fixing/updating their seat displays. Both going over and coming back, my display had to be reset multiple times before it would work. And when it did start working, the audio was almost unintelligible

Our holiday was fantastic! The itinerary was very thorough and all of our accommodations were within walking distance from the train station. I would recommend this to anyone!
