I hope that someone who has effect on meta ads will see this There is no support. I always get blocked no matter what I’m trying to do. I have never had an experience with Facebook that went smooth. Every single time I can get blocked or need to verify something else. “Just keep it safe”

A Nightmare Experience with Meta Ads

My experience with Meta Ads has been absolutely infuriating.
I spent hours trying to understand charges on my account, yet I could not get clear answers about what I was being charged for. Meta AI was more frustrating than helpful. Instead of providing specific explanations, it repeatedly gave vague responses that wasted my time and increased my frustration.
The worst part is the lack of real customer support. When customers have billing concerns, they should be able to speak with a human being. Instead, I was sent through endless automated systems and unhelpful support pages. At one point, I was even provided a broken link when trying to get assistance.
This entire experience has cost me time, energy, money, and countless headaches. No customer should have to go through this much frustration just to understand charges on their account.
I wish I could file a lawsuit against Meta for the stress, wasted time, and billing issues I experienced. Companies should be accountable when customers are left confused, ignored, and unable to get meaningful support.
Meta needs to seriously improve its billing transparency, customer service, and AI support. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had.

RUN as fast as you can from Facebook ads. It took days just to set up simple ad. I chose a budget of £7 per day for 7 days. Then I tried several times to upload my card details, and it kept rejecting. A day after that I received some emails accusing me of violating Facebook rules and saying my ad was cancelled. A day after that bank card and bank account was blocked. That was because in one day Facebook had taken around FIFTY payments from my account totalling £132!! That was despite them cancelling my ad, my bank card not verified and my Facebook page saying I had no ad campaign and my balance was zero, plus I had set my ad budget limit to £50!! When I tried to resolve the issues I just kept getting a red message saying 'update payment'. I sent a message through the chatbot to explain the problem and ask for a refund. The chat just kept going around in circles asking me if I was satisfied with the'help'. After 14 days I still have not got any solution or contact from any human. I'm still getting emails accusing me of violating Facebook rules in my ad, Bottom line: Facebook ads is a complete sham, no co-ordination or logic. Thankfully my bank blocked them bleeding money from my account. Otherwise they would have taken thousands of pounds, at the rate they were drawing money from my card every few minutes, around 50 transactions in less than a day. At the same time they had already told me that my ad was cancelled and my account wasn't verified.
Facebook ads is obviously just a money printing machine for the owners. No customer care or help, no accountability!! PLEASE don't get caught out, like I did.

Die Anwendung ist alles andere als intuitiv. Es ist nicht sicher, was wo zu finden ist. Da ich eine kleine Firma habe, mache ich das selbst, und zum Teil ist es sehr verwirrend. Abgesehen davon sehen die Klicks auf die Anzeige immer gleich aus. Fast ausschließlich vom Iphone. Zu Beginn nur aus osteuropäischen Ländern, obwohl die Sprache "Deutsch" war. Nachdem ich die Länder einzeln gesperrt hatte, waren überwiegend die KLick aus Deutschland, weiterhin nur vom iphone. Ohne ads gab es durchaus noch Menschen mit einem anderen Betriebssystem. Außerdem ist keiner der Klicks länger als eine Sekunde auf der Seite geblieben. In meinen Augen aktuell völlig unnütz.

Terrible experience

First of all I think Meta must have recruited Microsofts old UX staff because it is crazy messy and everytime I click on something a new tab opens in my browser. Do again, do it right!

Second issue is that Meta tries to authorize money on my credit card all the time without permission which makes my bank block the transactions. So to avoid this I filled up my account with a balance. But still instead of deducting the sum from my prepaid balance Meta still tries to take money from my credit card. I have gone through the settings but I can't find anywhere to change this. This blocks my account and my time sensitive marketing campaign. They do as many monopoly companies do. They use their position to totally screw their customers.

Worst experience with a software ever.

I get message that Meta can't process…

I get message that Meta can't process payment so now I look and see I have spent $342 - without approving or KNOWING I AGREED, no email to confirm, nothing, so I am hoping to not pay as this ai, is gone crazy in our society.

Appalling

Appalling. The UX is the worst I've seen in years. Wasted hours trying to set up a basic ad with a click through. In the end, they blocked me saying there was a security issue and asked me to re-authenticate with an old phone number I have no access to. Abandonned the exercise.

The platform is getting more confusing than ever

It’s 2025, and Facebook and Instagram Ads are still not fully integrated. After 10+ years in advertising, I find the platform more confusing than ever—overly complex, unintuitive, and full of issues.

My ads randomly stop running without explanation, and there’s no clear guidance on how to fix it. This has happened multiple times. Running Instagram-only ads often interferes with Facebook campaigns, creating more problems.

Customer support looks helpful on the surface but rarely solves anything. Meta seriously needs to simplify the system and offer real support.

Worst Customer Service Ads Platform in the world

For being one of the largest platforms in the world, you would think they would care about ads and small business success... ZERO Customer service absolutely amazing that they don't have a customer service support to use their platform. I have been in business for 8 years, and haven't been able to run an ad on Meta Facebook, because it is so darn complicated. Obviously they have tech guys build it and never ask a real business owner if it makes sense..... Zuck, needs to fire everyone and start over

Very bad

Very bad, low quality service. I couldn't even set up my account. I tried to type in my bank account's details, and my Ads account was restricted FOR NO REASON. I had spent DAYS learning how the platform works and crafting a campaign. It is ESSENTIAL for me to launch the campaign tomorrow. And they disable my account FOR NO REASON. No problem, right? To log back they can simply send a code to your email, or something, right? NO. You have to MESSAGE THEM and send them A FORM. Thank you for your help, Meta. Thanks for creating a service where you can't even type your payment details without being restricted.
