Experience was ok over all I just wish that communication was better.
I’ve sent email- no answer.
I’ve rang them - no call back.
We eneded up getting a deal for 5 years instead of 3 which is ok ish but just wish that we could actually see the letter of offer before from the mortage advisor like we did with Better.co
Dawn that works there is just very miserable and she should work on her customer service because if I was to rate it it would be 0.
Overall was ok
They’ve sorted it but I wish communication was better.

Helpful advisor and smooth process
Recently completed a remortgage and help to buy pay off. Richard Montlake was my advisor and couldn’t have asked for a friendlier and helpful advisor. Was really easy to get hold of and was really down to earth. This helped with coping with the stress and making important decisions and his honesty really helped with making the decisions. He was also really good with understanding my situation and was really proactive in wanting to help me make the best out of my situation. He made sure that I felt no question was a silly question and made sure to cover all points, making it easier for me to understand. I would highly recommend Richard and Acumen, whichever stage you are in!

Fantastic support from start to finish
We’ve just had our mortgage offer come through and can’t thank Mick enough for all his help along the way. From the very first conversation he’s been clear, patient, and proactive in guiding us through what at times felt like a stressful process.
Every query was dealt with quickly, and he kept us updated throughout so we always knew where things stood. He even liaised directly with the site on our behalf to smooth out details.
It’s a huge relief to now have the offer in place, and we couldn’t have got here without his support. Would happily recommend Mick to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive mortgage adviser.
