In May 2025 I filed a BBB complaint regarding a refund that was owed to me for about $800. Shortly after, customer service emailed me and said they had been planning to issue the refund, but because I filed the complaint they would no longer process it.

That response alone says everything. If a company truly intended to refund a customer, a complaint should not suddenly change that decision. In fact, it suggests the refund was never going to happen in the first place. Penalizing a customer for using a formal complaint channel is unprofessional and raises serious concerns about how disputes are handled.

Time has passed since this happened, but the experience still stands out. Policies and billing issues can happen with any company, but refusing a refund specifically because a customer filed a complaint is not acceptable business practice.

That promise did not hold up.
After cancelling due to increased pricing for basic features, accessing my company’s own files and documentation became unnecessarily difficult. For a system that markets itself to contractors, this is a serious oversight.
Know exactly how you’ll get your data back before you ever upload it.

This is the third time this issue has come up with previous clients.

We decided to call acculinks and they told me it would cost $600 for me to review this clients files. For 5 minutes to review One customer file, it would cost 600 plus dollars...

Watch your billing closely!

We have used this program for a few years with another company then used it for our own. While it was useful in keeping track of jobs and customer contacts, the fees are excessive. When we set up our account, I was asked how many users because you are charged per person. At the time, we had 7 users, but they assured me that if that changed, to go into settings and adjust who was active and I would only be charged for ACTIVE users. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!! After reviewing my account, I have been over charged for 5 months for over $1000 for users who were not active! We are a small company and this is not fair. When I reached out to let them know to adjust my bill, they would not refund me the previous charges and told me I needed to call a sales rep to adjust users- the settings making a user inactive does not report to billing. This would've been useful information. To me this is a scam, encouraging max charges. I will be exploring other CRM programs with better transparency and customer care!

The photos on the app is terrible

The photos on the app is terrible. You can’t zoom in very well and whenever you are looking at a picture deep into the file if you try to back out to look at more photos the app starts you over at the most recent photo which is extremely annoying.

Also when replying to messages on the app many times it will not let you respond unless you go in and uncheck somebody’s name then check it again then the message will post. Kind of a pain in the ass

Acculynx is very user friendly

Acculynx is very user friendly! Anytime I've ever had any issues and contacted tech support they always took care of my issues instantly. We run a lot of reports daily and if I can't figure out how to get the information on the report, I just submit a support ticket or call and they email a job aid to explain. I'm not sure how our roofing business would run so smoothly without Acculynx.

Love Acculynx

Love Acculynx! I use the Task feature on a daily basis to manage my workload! I can download a list to keep myself on track. Working with insurance claims, I have to be on top of it to ensure prompt payment. Tasks have definitely been a game changer for me!

We use Acculynx exclusively for file retention and picture storge. Its so great to be able to go and search for jobs we have done in the past and have it all in one spot. If we have any problems someone is available to help by phone and I mean a real person. That's worth a lot to me. Try it its worth the money to us I think you would agree after using it.

I use AccuLynx for all my roofing…

I use AccuLynx for all my roofing needs. From writing bids, to keeping in touch with my customers. I'm able to schedule appointments and set reminders as well. The only thing it needs is a Autocorrect function when typing. Other than that, it's great!!

Go Acculynx!

Love this system! Useful tools and features. Giving 5 stars because we couldn't work without it. My only complaint is the search bar. A roofers friend

I really like this software for roofing. We do not even utilize it to its fullest and I appreciate it. I can find customers when I need to and my notes are so important. Contracts and roof measurements right where you need them. Who wants to go looking through a notebook or anywhere else to find a customer's information. Acculynx just keeps on improving their software. You can't go wrong with this company. If they weren't trying to enhance it and improve it all the time that would mean they didn't care. Obviously they care. They invest to help your company be successful.

I love Acculynx

I love Acculynx. They listen to the customer's feedback and have made several changes over the many years I have worked with the program. They keep adding enhancements and are very responsive when you call with a question. I love that they follow up with an email outlining the fix or explanation for your issue. I would highly recommend this to any roofing company. I also love that you can put notes and pictures and videos on the customer's file. Greay program! This asks for an exerience date...so I had to put one in but every interaction with them has been satisfactory! Thank you!

Top notch customer support! Over the last 8 years that I have been working with Acculynx I have built relationships with many of the techs at Acculynx and value their support and insight. They are constantly improving the capabilities, integrations, and tools within the CRM.
