I couldn’t recommend this company enough. Josh and the lads did an excellent job boarding out our loft and relocating and installing a set of loft ladders. They even came back a couple of times to repair and replace the ladders after I disconnected them to make more space to get a table up there. A decent price and all really really friendly, including office staff. Highly recommended

Patrick, from Access4lofts in the Thornton-Cleveleys area, came to adjust the loft hatch opening that another, not so reputable company had installed.
He quickly identified the issue, took pictures to show us the problem, and fixed it in no time.
We were so delighted with their efficiency, communication, and politeness.
We'd highly recommend them, as they had previously boarded out the loft to a very high standard. It's great to know that they pay the same attention to the little jobs as well.

Jack, who carried out the installation, provided an excellent service. Jack was efficient, friendly and informative explaining what would take place and how long. Jack also left the area he was working in clean and tidy.

Just had a loft ladder fitted . Great service from the Cheltenham area team from quote to booking and fitting . Fitting team Ilyass and Ben were friendly and professional and completed the job including cleaning up afterwards efficiently. Well done will definitely recommend Access4Lofts .

we had a loft ladder installed. very lovely and quick assessment about what was needed and when they could install it. very helpful with queries and what is in the customers interest.

Terrible customer service. Got a call from them their Crawley office on Wednesday booking me for a loft survey at 1230pm the next day. I was impressed that a survey was scheduled that quickly. Alas, the surveyor was a no show or any calls, whatsapp or text from them. I was already scheduled to work from home so no loss, only irritated that they didn't even bother to inform me. Later in that afternoon I called their main customer service who promised to look into my survey and get back to me. A week later and still not a single call from them.

I was already sceptic reading reviews here in Trustpilot with many people experiencing similar experience of surveyors not showing up. I've probably dodge a bullet here as you can imagine if they are this bad early on, both the surveyor and customer service, then you can only imagine what its like going forward. Take your business elsewhere and don't bother wasting any time with this unprofessional company.

We have recently moved to a house with very high ceilings that already has a fitted heavy wooden loft ladder in 4 sections. I was worried about the safety when releasing it from the loft as it has come down quickly on a couple of occasions. Eifion, the Chester installer came out to look at it next day. He examined the mechanism and took time to offer very good advice on how to release it safely. Eifion was very professional and friendly and there was no hard sell from him. He didn’t charge me for coming out to look at the existing ladder and explaining how to operate the mechanism safely. I would recommend Eifion unreservedly to anyone thinking of having a loft ladder installed or changed.

From start to finish we were treated with respect and understanding of our needs. Nick came first to have look and give us a quote, perfect gentlman, no pushy salesman. On the day of the fitting they arrived on time, Dan and George were lovely, if it wasnt for the noise we wouldnt have known they had been. They left the house as they found it. I will certainly be reccomending them in future.

Superb service from start to finish and neat, professional fitting. Courteous and respectful of property. Cleaned up after themselves to a high standard. Would highly recommend this company. If I could rate higher, I would. Thank you.

Just had Ollie and Dorson round (Bath area) to board the loft and fit a loft ladder. Worked non stop, tidied up and were a credit to the company. I was very happy with the outcome and I thought the cost was good value. The whole experience from initial quote to fitting was top notch. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Just had a loft boarded by this company and from start to finish I could not be more impressed with the work. They were a polite and professional team. Kevin especially was very understanding and helpful. They fitted in a couple of days and did a fantastic job. They even reduced the cost at the end when they realised they didn’t need as much insulation. Very impressed with their honesty. Would highly recommend these guys.

Would not recommend.
The work itself was adequate. However they double booked me then forced me to move dates when I work shifts and didn't know my rota. My partner had to take the day off which they were informed he would be supervising the installation and they kept calling him my HUSBAND when I said PARTNER. During texts and phonecall I was called MRS when I stated I'm a MISS even after correction it continued and my name was spelt wrong twice. On the day they notified me they would be 30mins late and tried to call me when I said I wouldn't be contacted at work...they then turned up 1hr 30min late. This was followed by me having to make 3 phonecalls back and forth, again at work where I should have been on my phone to discuss my discontent and all I got was "ohhhh Sorry".
As a family business I would expect a company to not only own up to their mistakes but compensate for them.
Lastly, I have checked the work and there is an unnecessary 1cm gap around the edge of the hatch so it isn't flush (either they couldn't cut the right size or didn't want to) and I had to sand down the hatch edges as I got a splinter.
All in all the job was not worth the money and stress caused, probably could have done it myself. Glad I didn't ask for boarding also, I will do this myself.

Complete rip off Ryan misold what he was going to do . I was told that the insulation in the loft will be changed . This was only done in part and the surrounding areas where the board was left untouched . Communication really poor by Ryan Wong . When I raised this the company became defensive and rude and said they drew on a piece of paper the area that will be be covered . Cost me close to £1800 for an incomplete job. I was told I can pay extra for the rest of the insulation and then was told it does not need changing . Very disappointed please do not use this Company maybe the other fitters were good and that is why the reviews are

Brilliant. we knew nothing of loft conversions. Josh is very, very good at explaining what you need and what you dont. Super professional and an excellent job done on the day. On time, reasonably priced and were very happy with the result. Would 100% recommend these guys.

Josh and Morgan arrived bang on time at 8am and did a fantastic job. Unable to have a wider fitting entrance point and ladders i settled for fresh insulation and boarding. Storage space is always a good selling point when putting your house up for sale and with it all boarded down i now have a huge amount of space. The price was £400 cheaper than a previous quote and i was very impressed by Josh and his advice when he gave me the quote. Morgan was very respectful of my property and answered all my questions.Minimum mess and tidied up after the work was done this is the benchmark for customer service. I would definatley recommend them. Money well spent and less heat escape. 10 out of 10.

Our boiler hasn’t worked since Storm Goretti, and after being completely let down by the person who originally installed it in the loft (for the previous owners), we hit another wall when no one would come out to repair it without a fixed ladder and proper boarding. It honestly felt like we were destined to stay cold forever! 🥶

We contacted Grant for a quote to install a fixed ladder and partially board the loft — just so we could get a plumber in to fix the boiler — and we could not be more delighted with the whole service.

From the ease of making contact, to the great communication throughout, the friendly team, and the incredibly quick high-quality work, everything was spot on. The 0% payment plan was also hugely helpful for an expense we definitely could have done without.

We haven’t stopped climbing in and out of the loft since (we’re still repressurising the boiler as we haven’t quite got round to calling the plumber yet!), and we only wish we’d had the whole thing done.

From my first meeting with Grant through to the installation by Ollie and Dave everyone was very friendly and professional.
I am very happy with my new loft steps and boarding, which has given me easy access to my loft and considerably more storage space.

Simon arrived as planned to replace my loft hatch which had been installed many years ago. The replacement was of much better quality the the existing hatch and now benefits from the addition of insulation which was not in place on the old hatch. Very satisfied with the work and impressed with care taken to keep the working area clean while working.

Simon arrived on time and got straight to work.
He just disappeared into the attic.
A hand appeared once to accept a cup of tea, but
other than that I never saw him. The following day
was the same. He never stopped.
Full credit for his work ethic. He is a grafter.

Nathan came n gave us a quote bang on time and managed to fit us in within 2 weeks. Came today to fit a new hatch n boarding at 8 on the dot. Did a cracking job even replaced a strutt that was knackered. Clean friendly and couldn't recommend them enough. This is a franchise so each will b different but he is tameside area. Brilliant thank you
