Removal of water tank
We used AC&MS Ltd to remove an asbestos water tank in our loft. Both men were friendly & did the job quickly but we were disappointed with a couple of items. They broke our loft light switch which we had noticed after they had left which we now need to replace. They also advised that they would arrive between 2-4pm but they arrived at 11am with no prior notice. A heads up would have been good advising of the time change.

I am sad to see that you have given us a 3 star review because the majority of our reviews are 5 star. I am glad to hear that my staff were friendly and did the job quickly, but disappointed to hear that they have broken your loft light switch. I have questioned both Robbie and Reece who carried out the works and they have both advised me that they were not aware that they had broken the loft light switch and if this was the case it was an accident. Whilst i am not disputing the accusation and i only have their version of events this now leaves me in an embarrassing situation if the accusation is true and i can only apologise. All of my staff are told that should any such accident happen they are to report it to me or senior management straight away. Neither myself or my contracts manager or anyone else in the office were advised that they had broken the light switch, so this was the first i knew of it. Had we been contacted on the day by telephone we may have been able to act more quickly.
Regarding their arrival time. My staff sometimes have several jobs to complete in one day and when we advise on a time of arrival it is an estimated time and they arrived early because their job before finished earlier than was anticipated. I understand that a "heads up" would have been appreciated from us of a time change but had they arrived early and you weren't at the property they would have waited for you to return to complete the works.
I am sorry that you feel you have been let down by AC&MS Ltd and i can only apologise for this.

A very professional team came to remove…
A very professional team came to remove our asbestos. One cup of coffee and then they didn't stop. Removed every scrap of asbestos, the attendant engineer tested and OK'd the air quality and they were on their way.
A warning. They erect a sealed blue plastic tent around the area with asbestos, then go in and out fully suited and masked. Warn your neighbours! It looks like a biological outbreak being contained!

Professional and super friendly
I`ve just use their services and it`s very straightforward, call them, they`ll book you on for the next working day. I`ve been in touch with Richard Gray (very friendly, polite and professional). The surveyor (Joe Mensurah) arrived on time, gave a call prior arrival very professional and super friendly, collected as many samples as we requested, on the top of that he checked the whole house for possible contaminations and collected extra samples. Answered every question and doubts we had so we could have our mind at peace. If you need a professional, affordable asbestos surveying team, choose them, I can highly recommend !!!

Very professional. They inform you with the facts and provide good information and reasonable quotes. I found other companies try to put the fear of god into you so they can overcharge. Recommended by a friend and I was very happy with this company. Fantastic service and really helpful. I 100% recommend. Nice people to deal with from office managers to the lovely guy who came and did air monitoring to dust sampling. There are some charlatans out there who will mug you off and I nearly went down that route until this company were recommended by my neighbour, who himself is very knowledgeable. Job well done from start to finish!
This was a job to test for, and if found remove, asbestos in a garage ceiling. The testing was done quickly, the results were available a day or two later, and the removal of the asbestos boarding was done in good time, at at my convenience.
The workers who did the removal were professional, friendly, polite, tidy - and nothing was too much trouble for them.
I'd highly recommend AC & MS for any asbestos works - it was a pleasant experience from start to finish.

Nothing but professional
Richard and the team were so helpful and professional all the way through. They always answered queries promptly and never made us feel like we were asking silly questions (of which there were many!). They really helped us through what was quite a stressful time (finding possible asbestos in a flat we were buying as first time buyers). Some samples came back negative and some positive. The suspect material was removed quickly and the flat left clean for us.
