The shop has everything you need and friendly staff.
I felt that the staff were all friendly and more than happy to help. They had sound knowledge of the products they were selling and it was enjoyable to chat with the guys that I dealt with. The only negative thing I could say is that my bike wasn’t thoroughly checked over when I purchased it. After a ride or two my whole headset/ headstem/ forks were all pretty loose and had a lot of play in it so I tightened it all up and then went over the entire bike and nothing was tight enough. These things happen and it wasn’t major but in saying that, I spent $1400 on my bike and didn’t really expect that to happen. I only did gentle road riding on it initially when I had these issues so it wasn’t through punishing the bike on big dirt jumps or anything like that. I would be happy to shop there again and love the free service after 6 weeks and the 30 day period they give you to swap your bike if you’re not happy with it was the best deal I have ever come across.

It took nearly 2 weeks for my click & collect order to be ready even though I was told another shop nearby had the items in stock. When I went to pick it up I had to wait over 15 minutes just to enter the store due to ridiculous over the top Covid19 restrictions. The shop is huge & there was only maybe 10 people in total in the store. Supermarkets etc. allow far more people in. I won't shop with 99 Bikes again.

mixed results...
I was really impressed with the service I received over the phone with the purchase of my bike online. However, when I went to collect the bike in store I was basically rushed out - I was given a 5 minute crash course on the bike when I understood that I would receive a detailed fitting/overview of the bike.

No help just in and out all about the money
Unfortunately when I came into get a bike I put on hold I wasn’t given the opportunity to sit on it and have a feel and be told how to use some things like the reload on the front shocks, the worker who’s name was samuel *prospect adelaide* didn’t give me much information about anything, I was looking for a pump and he wasn’t helpful at all and when I got home all the way back to Renmark 280km one way trip I found the tyres where flat and I didn’t have a pump to pump with a priests valve on it so I couldn’t pump them back up as I didn’t know what a presta valve was at the time “thanks YouTube for helping me” so I then had to go to big W and buy a cheap crappy one because where I live we don’t have bike shops which is why I travelled in the first place. All in all the bike is great for what I need but a little help with the pump side of things would have been great and I’ll be heading to YouTube to suss out the reload feature on the front shocks.
