Very good value easy to set up account can now listen to the music I like anywhere I am located

Do not buy from them they give you a poor quality song take your money then remove it couple of months later. When you query it you get a nippy email. Customer service is disgusting.

As others have said; they sell lossy files converted to FLAC. Inexcusable. They apologise and state that they have requested updated files from the record label, but I think that is pure guff, the albums exist nowhere else in FLAC.

What's worse is they admit an issue with the albums, but continue to sell them in the FLAC format.

If you care about the quality of your audio. Avoid 7digital. They sell fake flac files that are really just MP3's.

I recently decided to replace the stereo files I have with mono versions.
I have purchased most of the replacements from 7Digital, always selecting Flac.
Recently I was advised to check the quality with a spectrum analyzer and to my horror I found that most of them were between 128kbps to 320kbps mp3's that had simply been upsampled to Flac.
This has cost me a lot of money and I urge others not to fall foul of what can only be described as a scam.
Avoid this site at all costs.

Awful website. Spend two hours curating a list of tracks to buy. I went back and an hour later and my cart was empty. Customer services are equally awful. strongly recommend alternative sites that don't waste your time!

Despite the poor reviews on this site I have just used 7digital for the first time today. One of the reasons was that I was unable to find the music I was looking for, in better than mp3 format, on any other site. Registration was simple, straightforward and completed in a few seconds. I then purchased two music albums in 16 bit FLAC. These downloaded quickly and without any problems. One reviewer suggested checking the audio quality using an acoustic spectrum analyser. This I have done and the files are of the correct quality. I therefore recommend this site. Generally their prices appear to be much cheaper than HDtracks!

I've tried to create an account as I had located several tracks I wanted quickly. I keep getting technical error messages attributed to their side and having located a number to contact them reached a full and obviously non-tended to inbox. Poor start for a potential new customer.

What I don't appreciate is that 7digital sells tracks that do not meet the specified soound quality. If you buy tracks at 7digital I would recommend downloading a acoustic spectrum analyser (like the free "Spek" app) to test the actual sound quality.
What I like is that they have admitted the error and communicate in a pleasant way. They have also request a new version from the record company, so hopefully this will solve the issue.

Don't buy from them, they remove albums and you can't download them anymore after that (hope you had backups).

Purchased a bunch of downloads on their site. Suffered a hard drive crash and lost all my music, so I logged back in to my 7digital account to re-download them only to find out that half of my purchases are no longer available for download. Just to be clear, we're talking about songs I had already paid for. I contacted customer service that sent a rude reply, with no apology whatsoever, stating that labels can remove downloads from customers libraries if they decide they don't want to sell them anymore. I can understand the feature to buy them is removed in the event of this happening, but why would songs I had already purchased, while they were still being sold, also be removed?
It's okay, I'll do what I have to do, but won't be getting them (or anything else for that matter) on 7digital, that's for sure. I also don't feel like paying for them again. Companies like this and the music industry can continue to live under their rock.

I have bought an album on the website, which turned out to be incomplete. When I pointed it out, I was told that they will ask the publisher to send them the complete album and I can choose to wait until they get the fixed album from the publisher, get a refund, or exchange for a similarly valued album. As I was interested in the original album I chose to wait. After a month and several check-ins with them whether they received the full album, they have removed from my library even the incomplete album that I had at that time. When I asked about it, they replied that I can exchange it with another album of similar value. As I was interested in the original album I asked for a refund then, at which point I was told about their policy of refunding only within the first 14 days after the purchase. At no point earlier was I told about this policy and was left to wait for the complete album that never arrived. Would not recommend buying from this website.
