Like all of the other reviews on Trustpilot, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
40's and 50's meet are complete SCAM sites that just take your money, I followed their absurdly complicated cancellation process that's clearly designed to trip people up and used DropBox's FAX service to complete it, no response!
I've now had to cancel my credit card to ensure they don't take any kind of membership renewal fee.
BEWARE, SCAM SITE!

After reading every ones comments on this site that, they are very true. As I joined for three months and gave advance cancellation notice, and am still getting over dew notices for payments with court proceedings given which has been going ON now for many years.
PLEASE EVERY ONE WHO IS THINKING IN JOINING THIS SITE DO NOT BECAUSE IT IS THE BIGGEST HEADACH FOR YOU!..............

Abzocke, Unseriös, gleich am nächsten Tag vom Vertrag zurückgetreten, ständig Forderungen erhalten ich wäre nicht sachgemäß vom Vertrag zurückgetreten. Forderungen mit angeblichen Inkasso von 1000euro erhalten, letztendlich dem Konsumentenschutz übergeben. Dieses Portal arbeitet mit widerrechtlichen Machenschaften. Finger weg.

Try it again this year and found it completely different it is all about money now with a lot of fate profile on it
Do yourself a favour and stay well clean of this site before you have lot of money taken out of your bank account

Unfortunately I didn't look on this site first. I went on this 50s site in 2021. Went on once never looked since. They have now contacted me saying I owe money and ut goes up every week. If I don't pay they will send bailiffs around and it will effect my credit score. Do I pay this bill or ignore what they are saying im at my witts end. I'm paying for my daughters funeral that is costing me loads. I have enough going on than being threatened by them x please someone advise me x

This company is trying to take over £1000 off me when after I told them I was not continuing with my subscription I tried to pay the 1 month without success as my barckays app.will not recognise their bank details so 10 months on they keep renewing my subscription and are threatening debt collectors . I've not used the site and not received any matches. They keep.ignore my pleas so I'm.in limbo. Help what can I do

I am at my wits end with them. I thought I cancelled this over 2 years ago. I had to send a letter to Vienna to do it.
Then I heard nothing for 2 years and now they say I have t cancelled and a debt company has contacted me saying I owe over £800.
I have said I am not going to pay and they said I can’t just write a letter and email to cancel.
As I have broken their terms and conditions and have not paid they will take legal action.
I said fine, go for it.
Is there anywhere we can all go for help with this?

Apparently I joined this dating site on 27th December 2021,with a 6 month subscription,only on July 13th 2023 did they inform me that I was £264.00
In arrears and that I must pay it or they will instruct a debt company,so I wrote them a letter asking numerous questions,to my surprise they didn't answer 1 question,so I then told them that oi would be charging them £32.50 For every email sent,so far they owe £390.00 which I will invoice them for,I also said that everytime I send a recorded letter I will charge £75.00,(CHARGE THEM PEOPLE ITS YOUR TIME AND EFFORT)Then Friday they sent me an Email stating if I pay £1017 that they would close my account, so in 3 weeks its gone up by £700.00 LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS DITE IS A SCAM DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BANK DETAILS NOTHING.

The biggest con going ,I joined and found a lady I had chatted to before . The person I spoke to on here was replying like a computer and after talking to the real lady she confirmed it was not her I cancelled my contract but they ignored and took next payment had to get bank to stop payments Be Warned

I never joined this site I never gave my bank details I only gave my email to look at it this were 2 years ago now 2 years later they sent me a email for nearly £300 pounds saying I owe and threaten me with creditors well let them see how they get on in court with me if i had jojned how come they never taken money ..any one getting threatened with creditors cancel with your bank do not let these scammers take your money ..it is a scam do not go any where near this site .
Does any one know who I can contact to report these scammers please time they were taken down taking advantage of vonerable people ..

Kündigung ist nur über Fax nach Österreich oder brieflich nach Österreich möglich. Zu viele Fake Accounts. Auf meine Fragen antworten Operator. Das merkt man spätestens wenn auf meine Fragen keine Antworten kamen , oder Zusammenhang lose Fragen gestellt worden. Nach zahlreichen einseitigen E-Mails meinerseits erhielt ich vier Wochen später Antwort, wie auch eine Kündigungsbestätigung ebenso per E-Mail.
Sehr unprofessionell.
Finger weg, würde ich niemals empfehlen dieses Potal.

50slove is a blatant scam, and fraudulently lure gentlemen into engaging with non-existing females, all of them reply with the same two- or three-letter sentences, making NO sense!!!!

Just took money out of my account R1079.00 after I unsubscribed. I am furious.

I have the same problem. I paid for a month then have tried so many times to cancel and nothing but now they want me to pay a huge amount for all the months I supposedly took. They quick to try get money out of you but don't answer emails to cancel. And now demand I send them the emails I sent them. Come on man they have everything..

This site is full of scammers who try to get your personal details quickly. The site itself is a scam because the cancellation process is nearly impossible, it takes weeks to get a response and they send threatening demand letters by post that arrive a month after the deadline. Expensive membership, expensive to cancel, rude customer service and designed to cash in on a vulnerable demographic. I am looking at taking this to the consumer watchdog here in Australia

A complete scam. Most of the profiles are fake, and many of the approaches and responses are obviously robots generating AI messages. Cancelling a renewal is exceedingly difficult

Very similar story to everyone else. I have reported them to Action Fraud and BBC1 Watchdog.
Contact your bank to stop any future payments but make sure you use the Alpha internet services GmbH name too.

Cannot cancel subscription, no phone number to speak to anyone and victims must send a registered letter or fax to cancel! DO NOT SIGN UP IN AUSTRALIA EITHER!

To all of you I am experiencing the same.
They will not cancel when requested, even though I didn't use the membership they will not issue me with a refund and now they renew my subscription without my consent and are harassing over paying them for a service I did not authorised £350!
Can anyone tell me if they tried to charge you under Alpha Internet Services or Loveat50.co.uk?
It would be of enormous help.

An absolute scam. The contacts on their site do not exist. They say that they will take money out monthly & proceed to take your money in one lump immediately.
Trying to cancel a membership/account with them is impossible, you have to send recorded letter to Austria & then they still do not accept cancellation. They are not contactable & never respond by letter or phone like a normal business would. they then chase & threaten you with court action for non-payment & costs of subscriptions that you have tried to cancel, even after following all of their instructions. I am seeking legal advice. Would anyone know if this illegal company can take any action legal against me?
