Heel slechts bedrijf of kun je ze geen bedrijf noemen. Ze kwamen helemaal niet opdagen op vliegveld. Dus sta je op vliegveld om 10 uur s avonds zonder auto.
Ik raad niemand om bij 387 auto huren.

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Scam-like behavior, avoid at all costs

I had a confirmed booking via Rentalcars.com to pick up a car from 387 Rental Cars at Skopje Airport. What happened there was shocking and unacceptable.

At the counter, two very young employees told me I had two options:
– pay a EUR 1,350 deposit by credit card (as per Rentalcars terms), or
– pay EUR 400 directly to them, allegedly for full insurance and no deposit.

I chose the official deposit option. They claimed my credit card was declined twice, yet I received no decline notifications at all in my banking app. I then provided a second credit card from another bank, same story. Again, no notifications.

After that, they told me the only option left was to pay EUR 400 in cash. I asked for a proper payment terminal or Apple Pay. This was refused. They then tried to pressure me by lowering the cash amount to EUR 300.

When I refused again, they printed a paper saying I did not pick up the car, stamped it, and closed the counter, saying they were done for the day. This happened while traveling with my wife and our exhausted 2-year-old child.

This felt like a clear attempt to force an unofficial cash payment. I had to urgently find another rental company late in the evening. I went to Interways where I got a car by using the same Credit Card.

This is not professional, not trustworthy, and in my opinion very close to a scam.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company and choose a reputable international provider instead.

Am 24. bin ich in Skopje gelandet. Einige Wochen zuvor hatte ich über Booking ein Fahrzeug bei 387 Rent a Car reserviert und vollständig im Voraus bezahlt.
Nach meiner Ankunft am Flughafen Skopje wurde mir am Schalter von 387 Rent a Car mitgeteilt, dass ich das reservierte Fahrzeug nicht erhalten könne, da ich angeblich 30 Minuten zu spät gewesen sei. Eine derart absurde und kundenfeindliche Regel wurde mir weder bei der Buchung noch vorher klar kommuniziert.
Mir wurde anschließend gesagt, dass ich – um dasselbe Fahrzeug zu bekommen – den gesamten Betrag erneut bezahlen müsse, zusätzlich zu einer teuren Versicherung, die ausschließlich von dieser Firma angeboten wird. Dies empfinde ich als vorsätzlichen Betrug und Abzocke.
Die Mitarbeiter verhielten sich extrem unprofessionell, inkompetent und unkooperativ. Eine Rückerstattung der bereits bezahlten Summe wurde mir kategorisch verweigert, ohne nachvollziehbare Begründung.
Ein solches Verhalten ist inakzeptabel und stellt meiner Meinung nach eine bewusste Methode dar, um Kunden Geld abzunehmen. Ich habe noch nie eine derart schlechte Erfahrung mit einer Autovermietung gemacht.
Ich werde niemals wieder bei 387 Rent a Car buchen und rate dringend allen Kunden, diese Firma zu meiden und Fahrzeuge bei seriösen Anbietern zu mieten.
Diese Beschwerde dient zugleich als Warnung an andere Kunden sowie als formelle Reklamation.

Am 24. Dezember hatte ich bei 387 Rent-a-Car am Flughafen Skopje ein Auto im Voraus gebucht und bezahlt.
Trotz bestätigter Buchung wurde mir kein Fahrzeug ausgehändigt, angeblich wegen einer kurzen Verspätung. Es wurde keine Lösung angeboten und der Umgang war unprofessionell und respektlos.

Ich stand am Flughafen ohne Auto und musste auf eigene Kosten ein Taxi nehmen.
Für eine Autovermietung am Flughafen absolut inakzeptabel. Keine Empfehlung.

Unfortunately, I rented a car from this company in advance through Booking.com. Upon arrival, there was no one at the airport office. I called the office phone number but could not get through. Only after asking at the airport reception were we informed that the office was located outside, at the back of Sarajevo Airport.

When we arrived at the outside office, there was a huge line — about 10 people — all of whom had booked and paid through Booking.com. Not a single person was able to take a car. Supposedly, there were “problems” with our credit cards. According to them, no deposit could be charged or reserved. This was, of course, nonsense. Everyone had paid properly in advance using credit cards. How is it possible that a deposit suddenly cannot be reserved on site?

I even offered to pay the deposit via IBAN transfer or in cash, but that was absolutely not allowed. The only option was to rent a car again at triple the price! It was obvious to everyone that this was a scam, and we all went to another rental company instead.

Calling customer service or Booking.com was pointless — no one was reachable and no one could help. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! This is outright fraud.

After reply of customer service:
You are a big fraudelent company. It is a shame that you do not comply with EU law. Otherwise I would have sued your company.

A few weeks ago, I rented a car from 387 Rent a Car. Everything was to my complete satisfaction: the car, the price, and the service provided by the staff.

This is the second time I have rented a car from this company in Sarajevo. Both times I did it directly through their website and both times I took out full insurance. It costs a little bit more, but you don't have to worry about a thing. And you don't have to leave any deposit. This works best for me and I always do this (also with other companies).

The first time, they made a small mistake with the car because it hadn't been returned by the previous renter. They solved this very professionally by giving me another car and bringing the correct car later the same day (to another city). Excellent service!

My experience has been very positive and I know that I will rent a car from them again next time!

I rented a car for 3 weeks from start to finish the experience was amazing!! The kind guys helped me with my suitcase in and out of the car, set up my car play, read through policy and procedure, were very thorough during the whole process, acknowledge damage made by previous customers and made sure I was happy! The car was clean, maintained and had no issues whatsoever, I would highly recommend renting a car from here!!

Just returned the car and I brought the car with less fuel and dirty and they didnt charge me anything. Great company!

I consider this company cheap, as well as its service. There are no signs where their service booth is located. We lost an hour while the airport employees found their location. The car was supposed to be a Volkswagen Golf automatic, but there was a Skoda Scala available, which was full of dents, scratches and a crack in the windshield. Almost the entire car was damaged. When returning it, they complained about a stain on the passenger door and wanted to collect money from the insurance company. I wiped this stain with my finger, because at night when I received it, I did not replace this stain from some marker. The employee of this company did not understand and demanded compensation. I refused and wiped this stain in a minute. Such a car should be taken to the workshop for service, and not given to customers with claims after returning. It is low and despicable to conduct business like this. Complete negativity and humiliation. Saraevo airport, October, 2025.

I have rented vehicles from 387 Rent a Car on several occasions, and each time the experience has been excellent. The pricing is highly competitive and exceptionally fair. The vehicles have consistently matched their descriptions and were in very good condition.

The agency is conveniently located at the far end of the airport parking area, making it easy to find and access. The staff are courteous, professional, and take the time to provide clear and thorough explanations. The security deposit is, as is standard practice, held on the credit card — a process that has always been handled smoothly and without any issues.

Overall, 387 Rent a Car offers outstanding value for money and is a company I can recommend without reservation.
