We highly recommend 1st Fix.

Although not the cheapest, were very efficient and quick, but would only commence when positive they could complete within a normal working day. Installation took place in February.
Engineers kept us updated regularly throughout the work on progress.
Tidy, no mess, very polite and respectful with regard to property.
What was surprising was that the engineers spoke about how happy and proud they were working for 1st Fix.
Revisited a few days after installation and commissioning to ensure all was still okay.

Hassan let me know beforehand that he was on his way, arrived within the time slot, was very pleasant and efficient, put up my new light fitting, made no mess and took away all the rubbish. What more could you want?

From the very first conversation, to the invoice being paid, we've received outstanding service. I spoke to Laura several times who assisted in booking appointments for the quotes, then organising the work to be carried out.
The work was done swiftly to a great standard and at a reasonable cost.
I would definitely recommend 1stfix to anyone who needs work done in their home.

Moving into a retirement flat I wanted extensive refitting involving carpentry and electrical work especially in the kitchen area which was pretty much rebuilt by them. They took great care to ensure I got what I wanted, always ensuring I understood exactly what they were doing. Their advice was excellent, workmanship great, and always with courtesy.

The engineer Paul was efficient tidy and pleasant. He put up a blind, a curtain pole, a large hook on back of door and a big mirror. Very pleased with the work he did.

I have used 1st Fix a number of times now and they are always reliable, arrive on time and do a great job.

Glad to find a pleasant young man who kept to time and solved our problem after previous firms let us down. Was initially surprised at the cost compared with the time taken to do the job, but agreed after being given the breakdown in terms of labour and parts.

Although the job got done, it took far too long. I was not inspired by the competence of the various workmen. But finally Zak put it right and on a Saturday too. The shower is now functional but I can;t say any more than that.

Quick, efficient, polite service and good value for money. Would use this company again.

Our tiler was courteous professional and helpful.
He cleared up after himself and took away rubbish.

1st Fix quoted for a long list of jobs I couldn't get round to. Paul from 1st Fix came to give the quote and impressed from the start. Good to hear someone say 'That'll be no problem' about each job presented. 1st Fix gave a clear quote, and said that Paul would be doing the work. They said they have a policy of the same tradesman doing the quote and work, which seems a good policy. Paul did a good job, taking great care with some different jobs, like installing a rather unusual garage bike storage system, getting the spacing absolutely right in hanging some pictures, and getting the height just right for curtain poles in relation to the replacement curtains.

Paid 1 st fix £750 to supply and fit a electric boiler ,it has needed to be reset 3 times ,the last one a few weeks out of warranty period and first fix invoiced me £98 to push a button !!
When I quiried this the receptionist told me the engineer had turned the thermostat down and fixed the problem ,alas this weekend it happened again.
The service this company provides is very poor and I would NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THEM.
I feel very dissatisfied and wrote to them 3 days ago with no reply.

I had to have a new kitchen fitted with decorations. The company had amazing staff who got straight to the job and got it done in the time frame i was given. They just got straight down to business and got it done as soon as possible.

Professional and friendly service from start to finish. Second time I have used them and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Sorted out a problem with my boiler quickly and without fuss. The price was good. This is the second time I have used them in the past few months, for different jobs, and I have been very pleased on both occasions.

1st fix were able to help us when no one else could. We have electric warm air system that no one out there seems to deal with and they were only too happy to help. Jennifer and Laura in the office were amazingly polite and helpful and I can't fault the service at all and would highly recommend them
