Quick, clear, concise & very polite!
There wasn’t a long hold time before reaching an agent, once the call was connected it took no longer than 5mins to complete everything; the team member that took my call was clear, concise and very polite. Sending a link to my mobile number to accept terms and conditions is a great idea! I could make sure my details were entered correctly and could accept terms and conditions without having to sit through a call where the agent has to read them out to me.

The process of signing up was easy
The process of signing up was easy, including a review of where we would be saving money. What didn't give it 5 stars is the timeframe for the turnover, and the lack of information available pertaining to what our charges will be (at the time). It took almost 10 days to process which eats up the cooling off period.

Customer Service has been great
Customer Service has been great. Rates are the best that I can find. Solar feed-in of 10 cents is nice too.
By far the worst energy company
By far the worst energy company I have ever encountered.
In October I purchased a solar system and required a meter upgrade. 1st Energy has been booking in a day to upgrade the meter regularly since then. They require 15 working days to do.... nothing? (I understood the first time, as materials were needed, but the second, third, fourth, FIFTH TIME?!?!)
They will then just not show up, call back a week later and attempt to blame you.
I've asked multiple times to reschedule or make a formal complaint to someone and then absolutely no communication.
This is utterly unacceptable and I have been beyond understanding.
I would strongly recommend NO ONE even consider the company.
Additionally, they were over charging me for almost a year before we realised and I'm in credit by $1000ish

Absolutely appaling. 6 months of bills hovering around $100 per month. Then an $850 bill saying I was wrongly charged/the digital meter readings stopped. I honestly dont think they even knew (they certainly couldnt explain) what the charges were, just that they couldnt be waved and I would have to pay it. One positive. There is no charge for switching suppliers! So no more 1st energy. I would not recommend them to anyone. STAY CLEAR!!!!
TERRIBLE SERVICE - OVERCHARGING without actually checking meters!
waited 5 months to change over from aurora! now 6 months later I have not had a meter read and they are charging me monthly what I paid with aurora 3 monthly! phone call on 10th october said they would book in a meter read but now we are a month later and still no action. DO NOT USE THEM!
