Sky stream customer service
Took out Sky stream, opened box and it was obvious the ‘puck’ was a previous customer return.
Plugged it in and set up okay. 10 minutes later remote stopped working, and puck kept turning off and on. The puck has no buttons so impossible to use without the remote. Went through the pairing and unpairing process and it couldn't even see the remote to pair
Went on line and chatbot asked what the problem was, kept asking me what service I had and it couldn't understand sky stream!
Asked to speak to customer service rep and it kept telling me i had to tell it what the problem was first. At third demand to be put through to a human, it eventually agreed and said it would send me a text message with a link to customer service and hung up on me.
Clicked the link and it took me straight back to the chatbot, you couldn't make it up.
Found phone number and put through to india and had to verify who i was before being put through and then had to go through verification again, by someone who didnt speak english and kept asking for the last 4 digits of my bank account number which i refused to provide.
He eventually changed and said it should be last 4 digits of my debit card. By this time i had given up and asked to be put through to the cancellations team which he refused until i demanded his name and to speak to his manager. He then transferred me.
For the third time i had to go through verification and they agreed to cancel and refund the setup fees.
without doubt the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced
