Gas reconnection job: Do not trust these people, engineer came out told me he did not have a drill to do the work but continued to open the floor boards to see where the pipes were which did not make sense because it was sticking out of the floor, bear in mind that it is £99. Per hour plus vat which he stayed for 1hr exact as he left I got an invoice straight away and payment taken from my card. He told me he would be back next day to complete the work, 12 mid day the following day no sign of him, I called the office and i was told by a very rude person that the engineer should not say he will be back all work must be booked in, fair enough. I then tried to get the work done and was told I will have to wait on till Tuesday which I thought was ridiculous, BTW this was a Friday, they then told me that there was loads of things they would have to do to get the gas reconnect which was not true. I called and told them I want to cancel the Tuesday appointment because I called another company that will do the work. i then had a call from the Manager Michelle who told me that whichever company I get they will not be able to do the work and she then told me that she will get an engineer to me on Saturday, So why did you not tell this to me in the first place? But I am glad because they were going to do some shady job and charge me a lot of money. The other company which agreed to come out that same evening to do the work which they did and tested all gas appliances. everything works fine I paid them £150. So paid plumbing force £99. Plus vat to get my floor boards ripped up. What a joke, especially in times like these, companies still trying to rip you off. Do the right thing guys, karma is real.
