Bargain Hunter

An excellent and well made product. Well worth the money. I know how long it will last as it's the second cover that I've had from bags4everything.co.uk. The first has lasted at least 10 years and is still doing its job perfectly. Made in England (Yorkshire, actually).

Not only a fantastic Porsche technician and a very straight forward guy, Nick also services other cars. Auto 2000 sorted out a problem for me on a 928 many years ago after the main dealers wanted a fortune and talked to me like I was a rich fool (I am neither) and when I needed my other half's '89 205 GTI servicing I took it along to see Nick who didn't mind me watching him like a hawk. He did a fantastic job, was obviously passionate about cars other than Porsche and pointed out a couple of things that I had failed to notice. Highly recommend Nick and Auto 2000 for a great job at a price that is more than reasonable.

The website is full of pitfalls! The prices don't add up and there are sneaky add-ons that appear when you get to the checkout. The day after they arrived they were only fit for the bin. Surely they should last more than a day? The complaint procedure started the company said that they could not view the pictures as they were in the wrong format! I had no problem viewing them so why was it a problem for a large company? I gave one star only because I couldn't give none.

Prestige sent out a replacement and it was as bad as the first. This company obviously has issues with handling flowers. I went to a supermarket and spent a fifth of what I paid Prestige and got 10 lovely roses that were excellent. Today Prestige refunded the full amount. It would have been much better to have used a small independent florist who understands the importance of sending flowers.

Although the website is a .co.uk address the company appears to be based in Germany. My concern was that I would be presented with a bill for duty and, possibly a courier handling charge. The company assured me that VAT would be charged by them but did not mention duty and a possible courier charge so I was still concerned. In the past Royal Mail has notified me via a post card that VAT and a handling charge of £8 would be charged for something that I bought in the US. On this occasion Royal Mail delivered the parts that I had bought from Buycarparts a week after ordering and did not charge duty or a handling charge . This was because the total invoice was less than £135. The product was half the price that it would be in the UK and I already recommend this supplier, Buycarparts, to my friends.
