Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless.
Was advised to give 90 days notice in writing to cancel my domestic alarm contract as I am moving house. No response to my letter dated February 6th. Have spent most of today trying to speak to someone who knows what is going on and can sort this-passed from one to another, given the wrong e-mail addresses, phone numbers not answered and consistently referred to the technical department not security despite my protests.
I sympathise with the staff I did speak to but this level of customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and deserves 0 stars.
Disgraceful.

Sensible solution!

Always found Hewers to be reliable and helpful so upgraded to their central heating package last year for’365 day peace of mind’
Rang today to report a leaking radiator in the hope that it would be seen to in a reasonable time frame-after some initial discussions where it looked as if nothing would be done for several days I received a very welcome phone call to say someone would be out tomorrow at 8am.
Well done Hewers for sorting this out and realising that it was not acceptable to wait.
A very satisfied customer!

Non existent Argos service

Ordered a bistro set from Argos in Dursley on 29th July as there was one in stock and I could click and collect. Order confirmed and payment taken.
When the text didn’t arrive to inform me I could collect I chased them up-response was ‘we will extend your collection window to 12th August’
Still no text 1week later so I rang again only to be told the order was ‘stuck in the system’-whatever that means- and I would have to cancel and rebook. Oh and for good measure my payment might take 30 days to refund!
If I tried this tactic in a shop I would be arrested for theft or fraud.

I ordered online from another company-the items were delivered free of charge 3 days ahead of the scheduled time. That is real customer service not the shambles that is Argos

Hi Margaret, I am sorry for the issues you have had with your recent order and that this was not ready to collect. Payments that have been made using PayPal can take up to 30 days to show back in your account once processed.
