Review in relation to Deliveroo! Food never delivered. Absolutely awful. System says that food delivered but never arrived. Customer offered nothing in consolation for the awful service but either a full refund of of the food and no food. Or they will place a new order for delivery. No compensation offered for the awful service that will be taking an hour and a half to be delivered and that is the brighter side of things! Disgusting service. You don't care about your customers. And this is not the first time this has happened!

Collection service definitely not up to scratch!

Why is it that - when you purchase a product online for collection the date of collection or period of collection comes and goes but they don't send the product back so the customer can get the refund... this has continiously happened. Why Boots? If a customer does not collect their order in the said time period do your job and return the back so the customer can get a refund... instead of keeping it for months at a time... do your job!

AWFUL SERVICE BY SOLIHULL BRANCH! AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

There is no care for customers no service - I purchased biscuits in store and upon opening them later that day. They 'soft' and had a ghastly taste to them. Upon realising that the packaging hadn't been secure thereby making the biscuits stale. I called customer service up and they sent a message through to the Solihull branch and awaited their response which should have been 24 hour reply they replied 48 hours later via email requesting a copy of my receipt to be attached by return e-mail and promised that they will sort this out. No mention of how was given. I have waited over a week with no response whatsoever from JL Solihull Gift department which is shocking. I know it's just biscuits but it is the morality of the situation having been a customer of JL Solihull and JL for quite some years. Having purchased in their beauty, home, clothing and having just spent loads of money for furniture and blinds at this store recently. The service is atrocious. What annoys me the most that when I called customer service back today - all they could offer that they 're-open the case' huh... re-open how could this be. I asked if I can speak to JL Solihull manager but was told they do not have the ability to do so and I would need to go into the branch to speak to the Manager face to face. What kind of service is this? I know... NO SERVICE! AWFUL SERVICE!

Though there was a queue to get seats for two the service was fantastic. Love their new dishes for winter season. There was always someone available with a smile on their face to help with any questions. Thank you for the great service - though you were really busy the experience was really enjoyable!

Shocking been a customer with Cult…

Shocking been a customer with Cult Beauty and a Gold Member. What I find shocking is that they say you get a birthday gift - guess what it is £25 off if you spend £100… now one has to ask oneself … who exactly is getting the gift?… Oh, Cult Beauty of course! Rediculous. AWFUL! Will take my money somewhere else!

Do not trust!

I signed up for an every 12 week subscription and they have started charging me and sending my products every 4th week! Awful service! Untrustworthy! Avoid!

Birmingham Store atrocious service

BEWARE!!
Predatory beauty selling Techniques used at the Birmingham store. Customer service doesn’t care about their customers and how they are treated it’s all about making money and no thought or care for the customer!! Been customer of theirs for years! NEVER AGAIN!

UPDATE ON REVIEW:
Matthew thank you for your reply - BUT this has already been discussed via e-mail on several occasions with your customer service via and NO your company does not care about your customers! And, this is not the first time that I have encountered PREDATORY BEAUTY PRODUCT SELLING TECHNIQUES in your Birmingham Store. The sick thing is they also used an opportunity to sell a £36 lipstick to a 14 year old knowing her age using Predatory selling techniques on her whilst one Bobbi Brown lady seperated her from me! I'm disgusted!

Received my trial package which…

Received my trial package which included 4 different smells. Found everything packaged up quite lovely but I only liked 2 out of the 4 fragrances. I was so eager to use and mixed up one bottle as instructed and went eagerly along and tried it out. The smell as you spray and wipe is quite lovely but and that's a big BUT they smell was not longlasting as soon as I finished cleaning a room I just could not smell the fragrance anymore. Very disappointing.

Great service

Great service - probably a bit too many knocks on the door but all in all great service. After leaving the parcel on the ground by the front door - the delivery person handed it to me as I told him I have a back injury and won’t be able to reach it - which he happily handed it to me. Thank you.

Whilst browsing the OK Beauty Box…

Whilst browsing the OK Beauty Box website I placed an item in my basket to think about if I wanted to purchase or not and I also had a monthly subscription with them which I skipped for a month so no payment should have gone through - but then when checking account I noticed that they had actually processed the item that I put in my basket which was £50 - be very careful when using this company… shameful!

Service wasn’t great

Service wasn’t great. Though there was a compromise in the end - service was awful. I had ordered an item. Went through purchasing it and paid for next day delivery. Received an email to confirm my order. I stayed in and the item didn’t arrive but at 2pm I received an email to say that they cancelled my order as they couldn’t fulfill it. After discussion through their chat customer service - I was bullied by personnel and treated like I was an imbecile. She treated me like she was literally having a street fight with someone. Extremely unprofessional and shouldn’t be working in customer service. I had to repeatedly ask for some one senior to help. After chatting to someone senior we came to some sort of an agreement. BUT the service was atrocious and why is the system saying that my order is confirmed and for next day delivery. Although I got a token payment for my troubles the service leaves a lot to be desired - it didn’t need to get to that position. It left me quite upset about how I got treated by customer service.

Awful service received the online chat…

Awful service received the online chat hasn't worked for days so been using messaging system with 24 hour response. May package arrived with Sol de Janeiro perfume bottle half open and all the contents of the bottle having emptied itself into my package everything was wrecked boxes looks like a dogs dinner of all the items. There was orange stains every where and when touching the contents it was tacky. They offered me £5 credit.... what???? I paid £45.38 for my whole order and the mess that I got including an empty bottle of perfume they are offering me £5? Ridiculous service! Why can one not chat with someone directly? I've to-ing and fro-ing with them messages over 3 days!!! It's exhausting and extremely frustrating! Lookfantastic you have greatly disappointed me and I will be cancelling my monthly beauty box with you!

Items ordered on 29 August 2023 items were suppose to arrive in 2 - 4 working days. Still waiting. There is no options to speak to anyone directly. Online chat switched off. And, so is the customer phone lines. Sent an email 2 days ago no reply. DO NOT. DO NOT USE THEM AS YOU WILL BE SITTING OUT OF POCKET AND NO ITEMS WHICH YOU HAVE ORDERED. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

items didn't arrive as scheduled and…

items didn't arrive as scheduled and not once but twice now an item that was included in my order was not confirmed being ready for collection. Once I didn't even realise the item was missing until a day later and then went looking on my order to receipt to see if I may not have ordered it but it was on it. I called your head office to check and as always there is no answer!!!! Terrible service from yourselves!!!

Definitely a lot needs to be done for vegetarian or vegans. Variety is very much lacking.

We are so sorry to hear that you have found our weekly menus lacking of veggie and vegan meals. Our chefs work very hard to offer a wide variety of recipes and tastes at the same time accommodating all our valued customers, so your feedback on our recipes is most welcome.

We recently introduced more vegetarian meals to choose from, but we do understand this is an area we can still grow in and we plan to do so in the future. We do offer the option to rate the meals you had through your app and upon rating them, you can also leave a comment in regards to changes you think may add to the flavour, portion size, ingredients used etc. This comment goes directly to our chefs who can then take it into consideration and perhaps implement some of your ideas in the future.
