TCL soundbar warranty SUCKS
I bought a TCL soundbar off Amazon 12/16/24, hooked it up per instructions to our Samsung TV, worked for about 2 weeks then quit working. I contacted TCL for help as I tried reconnecting to no avail, they trouble shooted it, unplugged tv and soundbar for 3 minutes, plugged back in, worked. That lasted 10 days, quit again, same thing to get it working, last 2 days, quit again, same thing to get it working, lasted less than a day. I was done with it.
I was 5 days past the return period for Amazon, so I contacted TCL for warranty return & refund. I had to provide copy of receipt from Amazon, 2 video clips of the issue so they could 'replicate' it, which I asked how do oyu replicate something that isn't working?
I submitted all of the required documentation and they still have not allowed me to return it for a refund. Each time they call they keep asking me to try another HDMI cable, try BT it to your phone, try it on another tv................I have done all of that in a previous conversation which they should read in their notes.
They now are trying to blame the tv manufacturer.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TCL AS THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY!
