very few seeds germinated and grew

very few seeds germinated and grew, very disappointing. made my order in May and planted when I should and looked after as I should, have a few years experience with plants and my greenhouse, I will not use again, Budget seeds yes, but very low success rate, I will pay more for my seeds next year, with reputable well known names, think the Rhubarb is dead too, Chilli plant ok

Hi Jane, our seeds are certified seeds tested for germination before legally being allowed to be sown. There are only so many seed producers in the World and we purchase our seeds from the exact same places as these 'reputable names'. We also pack seed for several of these companies too.

I'm sorry to hear you have had an issue, but given their ideal conditions fresh certified seeds, like the ones we supply to yourself and our clients, will grow as intended. We are not responsible for any weather cycle or chosen sowing method, or growing medium used at your location.

I was missing an item in my order

I was missing an item in my order. I emailed them as soon as I had received my parcel, I received a reply within 48hrs headed "All packing errors are swiftly rectified" that was on the 10th May, I responded straight away and have heard nothing since. I emailed again on the 16th and still haven't heard anything else.

First time for a long time disappointed …

I have given 5 stars on each occasion in the past. This time I am being generous with 3 stars. Parcel was late I was notified of delivery for that day and it just didn’t show up, it arrived later in the day the following day with no notification, on looking outside over the road the courier spent best part of an hour emptying his car of parcels onto the road and rearranging them in his car. He was obviously struggling and had no system in place

My parcel arrived wet and damaged

My parcel arrived wet and damaged. When I opened it some of the items were damaged. They were packed in a box that was too big for them with no padding/stuffing in between, so during transit everything moved around in the Box, resulting in some items being damaged. I emailed The Works and got an automated reply, and then a further reply today saying that they needed photos and that I could take damaged items for a refund to a Works Shop. I ordered online because its tricky to get to a Shop. The reply just showed no concern with regards to my experience at all. I am also not expected any response to this review, because there hasn't been a response to anyone elses. So I will not spend anymore time on this and I will never order from you again or recommend you to anyone. I have had quite a few orders from you in the past and never had cause to complain. What has turned me right off from your company is the lack of concern or being bothered.

Tough Sirloin Steak

I had an order delivered, most of which was lovely, however the pack of 10 Sirloin Steaks which were on offer, they are so tough and chewy, we were really disappointed mine was cooked medium and my daughter likes hers Moo'ing but they were so tough. Such a shame, because we have had them before and they have been great.

The picture was damaged

The picture was damaged. One corner was broken and there was a small hole and tear in the canvas.
Had it as a next day delivery and have emailed customer service and I had an acknowledgment to say I should hear from them within 4 days.
Overall I was very disappointed.

I paid for next day delivery it took 3 days

I purchased a dress and a top, which I needed quite quickly. So paid for next day delivery 5.99 EVRi tracking gave a time slot on the expected day of delivery , and then changed it to later in the day, then said they couldn't deliver that day, it would be delivered next day, that day I was given to slots again and then it said it wouldn't be delivered, the following day it was delivered, which was too late.
I may have kept the items if the colours were a good representation, but they were dull, not bright as expected.
So parcel didn't arrive next day as I paid for, and I paid to return the parcel, had an email confirming refund for items, but I did expect a refund for my original postage/delivery.
Also it is impossible to contact anyone at Wallis, Customer Service is non-existent,

I've checked this out and can see the courier was delayed slightly processing your parcel at the depot, which is why they couldn't reach you the next day on this occasion. I do apologise for this and will ensure to raise it with the courier.

I have refunded your £5.99 delivery fee which will reach your bank account by the 12th October. I've also raised your feedback regarding the colour of the items you received with our stock teams, so this can be checked & investigated further.

I made an order on the 26th March and…

I made an order on the 26th March and on the 28th March 116.92 was debited from my Bank account. I heard nothing from them since. I phoned them on Sunday to ask where my order was to be told that it would all be dispatched together when all items in stock. I appreciate that some plug plants may not be available until later, however I also ordered some Summer bulbs and seeds that could have been planted from March onwards. On looking at my order account, I have noticed that some items are now priced as '0' does this mean that some items which I ordered in March are now no longer available? So while waiting for some things to come into stock, some items which I have paid for have now become unavailable?
The lady I spoke to on Sunday said that she would arrange for the items that were available now to be dispatched early this week, so I have expected a parcel any day now, however on looking at my order, absolutely nothing as budged, nothing has been dispatched.
I really feel like I want my money back now.
I have been well and truly put off. Other companies like Suttons for example who I have ordered from over the last week or so do not charge that amount of postage and post plant plugs, seeds etc, as and when they are available and they have been arriving regularly and in good condition.
I think I have a right to demand my money back.

Dishwasher

I bought a Dishwasher Curry's online in April last year, Both my daughter and myself have phoned after the Dishwasher broke down and flooded the Kitchen, We eventually managed to get someone to fix it, He said he had fixed it and it went for about half an hour after he had gone and it wouldn't work again. Also it was still leaking, So we turned the water off to it. and out of sheer frustration we left it a few days before trying to get in touch with you again. This was 26th November 2021, after many phone calls and being passed around, given different numbers to call, wasting an hour or 2 each time on a few occasions and getting no where, even me ending up in tears of frustration at one point, we finally managed to get another date for someone to come out and repair it, which was the 28th January, we were both in all day and heard absolutely nothing, nothing, no one showed up. We have tried phoning since and again the phone number which was correct last time isn't the right person this time, given a different number to call and thats not correct when you get through, every time we call we have to give all of our details again, although you must have something on your systems.
So we have a white metal box, I wouldn't call it a Dishwasher, because it isn't fit for purpose.
We just don't know what to do next

Usually I would give a score if 5…

Usually I would give a score if 5 however on this occasion the packaging smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, fortunately when I removed the clothing from their bags they weren’t too bad, but it was obvious that the package had been in an enclosed space for some time with someone smoking. As a non smoker not pleasant
