Excellent service

I have ordered plants for a number of years. |This year the plants arrived well packaged but the box had been crushed in transit. Two Chrysanthemum plants stems snapped below leaves. I rang Woolmans and the phone was answered promptly and without any hesitation replacements were offered. A complete set of plants arrived 1 week after informing Woolmans of the issue Excellent service regarding original order and subsequent handling of issue.

Onion Sets

I couldn't find anywhere locally that was still selling onion sets in the quantity I needed. They all appear to be in 50's at £3 per pack. I want about 300 so the cost would have been around £18. In came across Budget seeds on the internet. A kilo of sets including postage was around £10. They arrived 3 days after ordering them. They appear to be good quality and consistent size. Obviously how they perform after planting will determine whether I use Budget Seeds again but at the moment I am very pleased with my purchase

Exceptional service

I ordered a Draper workbench. The price including delivery was excellent compared to other retailers. Delivery was within a couple of days.On opening I discovered a plastic handle had been shattered. I contacted DVS, spoke to Gareth who found a replacement handle in their warehouse. It was sent by courier and I received it within 24 hours of the original delivery. Superb service.Thank you

Excellent service

Ordered irrigation items at 3.30pm Friday. Arrived in post Saturday morning. Items very well packaged and seem good quality. Tremendous service.

Awful Service

Our parcel was due for delivery on Tuesday.Message then changed to courier running late. Never arrived but late evening got a message that it would be delivered next day. Next day given a time. Then recieved message it had been delivered. It hadn't. Fortunately the photo of delivery meant I could identify where it was- 5 doors away. This despite address on parcel and house numbers being clear and unambiguous. We were in throughout. Absolutely no excuse and demonstrates either total incompetence or couldnt care attitude.

Transfer

Attempted initiate an online transfer from another provider. Website not entirely clear and not giving appropriate guidance. Contacted for assistance. Waited quite some time before call answered which unfortunately is commonplace with many businesses at moment, not just ii. Spoke with Dominic. Very friendly professional and helpful. Led me through process and was very patient with calm giving appropriate guidance. Stayed on line until he had checked that the process had completed despite having a queue of incoming calls.

Ordered seeds online recently

Ordered seeds online recently. Promised delivery possibly 2 to 3 weeks due to number of orders. Arrived within the week. On initial ordering I realised I had left an item off. Rang the next day,phone answered promptly, added to order without any issue and dealt with by a friendly and helpful lady. I rate this as exceptionally good service.

Excellent provider

I have had excellent service from Octopus since my previous provider, the CoOp, was taken over. Not sure how prices compare but I value the service I have received. Monthly meter readings requested by e mail. Easy to navigate web site. There was a minor problem when accounts were transferred but this was resolved with one phone call and the agreed timetable for resolving issue was adhered to.

Not as it was.

Unfortunately the comments from other users reflect my own experience re price. I have never had any issue with staff who I have found helpful and friendly d I have always found their service to be excellent. Contact is much more difficult than it was in years past i.e having to find a way through their option programmes before speaking to a person. Oh for the days of a helpful person answering the phone and putting you through to relevant section. Prices go up every year and no negotiation. A member of staff was apologetic when i queried a renewal stating they had no flexibility as they only dealt with RSA.I too have moved two policies, home and motor, to LV and saved around £500. Being able to pay monthly does not compensate for this difference.I shudder to think what is likely to happen to the health insurance in light of proposed merger.
I think part of the reason for much of this criticism is they believed they had a captive audience, not realising how easy it is to compare offerings these days.

Depressing visit.

Depressing visit.
I have commented before about the attitude of the NT to its members re access to properties. Today we visited a nearby property with our daughter who had persevered to gain an admission slot for us. How depressing. All benches turned inwards or upside down. This means that visitors especially the infirm, disabled etc. are unable to rest or take in the views or the atmosphere.Flowerbeds not planted, access to many areas blocked off leaving one path around the grounds in a one way system. During the visit there were occasions when we couldn't even see others in the grounds. I accept the buildings being closed, but to restrict access to the large open areas is beyond belief, especially when beaches and parks are fully open. Please let us use common sense and police our own distancing rather than treating your members as children who need to be controlled in their every movement. Even the staff were apologetic about the situation especially when admitting there were many no shows from booked members. A request to donate £5 by text on leaving the property seemed a little insensitive. Some response from the NT to members comments on this site would perhaps assuage the severity of these views. Wrong Attitude of NT

Can someone at the National Trust give me a credible reason why I should continue to be a member(30 years +) when I haven't been able to visit properties or gardens for three months and unlikely to be able to do so for the foreseeable future. That is unless I continually monitor their site to see if I am able to book a timed visit which may or may not be convenient to other commitments. How do members not on the internet ever get to access the booking.
Their communication to members has been non existent.
At least English Heritage offered a deferment even though they did politely ask if that could be waived to assist their finances.

Same experience as all other reviewers

Same experience as all other reviewers. Still waiting for paint after 3 weeks. Money taken out on day 1. No updates, no response to e mails. Phone calls get cut off after a few rings. Would love to cancel and deal with a company that can work efficiently even during this crisis which I accept causing real difficulties, but don't want all the hassle of claiming money back and returning goods if they do happen to turn up. Other suppliers are delivering in days, why can't you do the same Homebase and why no comment on your website updating customers on the present situation?

Good energy company

Since transferring about 4 years ag only one blip to excellent service and that relates to a customer service advisor who obviously was not on top of his brief. It was at the time when Co op energy was expanding and suffering IT issues. Since then all contact has been prompt, efficient and trouble free. On a fixed price contract which mean certainty but nt necessarily the cheapest available but I have not suffered trauma that other consumers have with companies disappearing or poor service.
