Awful products & absolute waste of money

I bought the Exeskin balm for my children who have mild eczema which is what this product is marketed specifically for. Within hours of using this, their skin got significantly worse. Red, raw, almost cracked, I could not believe the damage that this so called eczema clearing natural product had done. I was so annoyed at myself for purchasing and using this product, I could have burned the £25 spent as that would have been less stressful. Please do not be led by the reviews of this product and be very very cautious if you decide to buy this especially if using on children. I certainly will not recommend this company or its products. I should have done some more research on this company and the level of experience these people have as it seems these days any old Joe is starting up companies selling products that claim to cure something. This product was not only an absolute waste of money but the stress it caused as a result of the damage to my children’s skin. Stay away!

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We understand that any adverse skin reaction can be upsetting, and it can be particularly stressful when trying to resolve a skin issue and not finding immediate relief.

We would like to clarify that we do not make any “miracle” claims about our products. Every individual’s skin is different, and sensitivities can vary significantly from person to person.

As stated on our packaging , as a precaution we advise carrying out a patch test prior to full application. We especially recommend that individuals — and parents of children — with known sensitive or reactive skin conditions complete this step before use, being good practice as with any skincare.

Where concerns are raised, we are always willing to review them responsibly and in line with appropriate procedures.

We do have a returns policy, which is available to view on our website. We are sorry that our offer to accept a return for a refund was not acceptable to you.

Appalling service

Appalling service, do not order online!

I usually spend quite a lot on Ben's cookies but I couldn't make it to the store and decided to order online. £33 later, the order arrived at the wrong address and completely broken to bits. Very embarrassing as it was a gift. Customer service was absolutely useless and didn't care that they shipped a poor standard product. You need to go directly to a store and NOT order online.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Oh my God!! I really wish I had read the reviews on here before ordering online from this company. I am absolutely shocked that they are still trading and can get away with treating customers like this! They have charged me for items that were not in stock and on another order, items were not shipped at all but nobody responds when you email them. There is no contact number, just an email address but no one comes back to you. It has been many days so I am going to try and raise a dispute with my credit card company. Never again, I have learnt the hard way. Avoid this company at all costs!

Decent company

Decent company to order from and delivery is quick and free but it can be a nightmare if you need to return something. Be sure that what you want to order is the correct item, check for any faults when items are received and check that the items ordered are the ones received. Having said this, staff members are helpful, a gentleman called Maddy was incredibly helpful, very professional and went out of his way to help me sort out my return issues. I cannot thank him enough.

Excellent customer service

I placed a very large order from Lights2go and as the items were quite high priced items, admittedly I was quite nervous. There were a few issues with the products but there was always someone on the telephone to help, provide advice and resolve the issues. This makes a huge difference rather than online companies that only accepts an email. I cannot fault the service provided, they were all excellent and everything was done in a timely manner. I have more chandeliers to purchase so I will certainly be back at Lights2go. Thank you.

Poor quality & customer service

I purchased a necklace from the Outnet only to discover that the necklace turned completely black only after one wear. The bottom line is that after you have made a purchase from the Outnet and they have taken your money, they do not want to know, even if the item is faulty. Be very cautious and purchase jewellery at your own risk. It’s not cheap and the quality is shocking.

Highly recommended!

Streathers in Crouch End was so good that it made perfect sense to review them on this platform too. Working with Streathers for my sale and purchase was the best decision I made. I cannot rate the communication and professionalism I received from Alan and Ashley enough. Alan was recommended to me and after going with another solicitor to begin with, I quickly realised my mistake and rectified it. If you are told by your mortgage lender that Streathers is not on their panel, query it as this was the case in my situation. When buying/selling, your solicitor is not where you want to save money. This is reiterated a lot but you don't realise the implications until you are involved in the process. Alan is very attentive to all the finer details involved and always communicated everything in a timely manner. I have no hesitation with recommending his services to anyone going forward and I will be right back at Streathers for any future sales/purchases. I am very grateful to Alan and his team for everything they have done to make this otherwise stressful process easier to deal with.

Absolutely appalling customer service

Having been a frequent TK Maxx store customer, I decided to order a few things online as little presents for people to lift their spirits in these challenging times. Fatal error on my part as more than half of the order arrived damaged. I was shocked at the state of the items and how they were packaged/shipped. I really wish I had read the reviews on here before placing an order as everything said about their customer service is true. Many emails after, I am still awaiting a response, it’s very unfair of TK Maxx to ask customers to pay for the return postage of damaged items. I will never order online again from this store, it’s not worth the hassle and grief.

Why has Whistles deteriorated??

I had no idea the reviews on Whistles were so poor but at the same time, I am not surprised! I agree with all the other reviews that the online customer service is so poor vs the stores, it’s appalling for such a brand. They are very robotic and keep repeating the same thing without addressing the problem. As a loyal Whistles customer of many years, I’m quite frankly too scared to think how much I have spent with them over the course of time, sadly I think I will not be purchasing from them anymore. It’s not worth the hassle particularly during these challenging times.
