STILL NO HELP!!!!!!

I placed a concern on here about the rubbish after care.

Currys replied with "Hi Richard, I am concerned to learn of your experience regarding your repair, this doesn't sound like our usual level of service. I did this 6 days ago, and because I heard nothing back I resent another email asking for a reply yesterday. Still NO reply!!

Do they actually take their customers seriously!?

After service is RUBBISH

I logged a call for a full service as there was mould in the water reservoir of my fridge freezer. When I asked the advisor to read back the works ticket information, she hadn't even written ion what I had told her. it took 3 or 4 goes to get it right. I was then told I had to send a a video to show what I was requesting to be done: Full service, broken seal on the door of the freezer, and to clean the water reservoir tubes and ice maker. I told the lady that there was no way I could show all three of these things clearly in the video, and she agreed that the notes should be enough.

The engineer came around and to fit the seal and new water reservoir, and then told me that he would have to request for the 'valet' service (full service!!) to be done by another company and he would put in a ticket for this. I would not have to do anything. he left the new water unit for the service to be done first. (mould can travel down the feeding tubes to the rest of the machine!!

2 weeks later and I had heard nothing back from anyone to arrange a time to get access to the house to do the service. I called Customer Services and was told that while the request had been put in for a valet service to be done, they were waiting for me to call them so as to process the request. I of course felt a bit fed up with this and asked to speak with the manager as I felt that I was not being treated correctly.

After the call then being lost, I called another 3 times with rude and dismissive people until I had got through on the online chat. The lady there gave me a telephone number to call a manager direct. I specifically asked her if it was going straight through to a manager and not through customer services, and she confirmed that this was the case. On calling the number the person confirmed to me that it was a lie and I had come through to the online purchases. I was transferred to the install purchases line.

After asking several times and going through the same information again (!) he agreed that he would ask a manager to call me back. OF COURSE.... sadly, this has still not happened.

I still have NO resolution to the valet and the new water reservoir is still not fitted.

I have tried to contact Head Office but there is no way to talk to someone!!!

After spending thousands of pounds with this company I can see that they are no longer interested in serving their customers, and my service agreement I took out when I purchased the item was just another upsell !!

UPDATE : 20/03/2026

I sent the email 4 days ago with all the information I was requested to send, and I have STILL not heard anything. I sent an email again today asking for some indication when they intend to respond.

Love the company

It was simple to place the order on line and to navigate their web page. They are always a helpful company if you need help, and the prices are very fair.

rude and ignorant staff

Having watched a video made about this website, I was disgusted to see how staff treated someone in public. Management do not even control their staff nor discipline their staff, even though one member of staff nearly indecently exposed himself on film.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

The company has no idea

On one day the parcel had cleared customs and they refused to give me my Movement Reference Number (MRN) so as I could check with the UK Customs if my parcel had been cleared. The MRN for my parcel is a detail of data and therefore is my digital property. Under the Data Protection Act (and its amendments) I have EVERY right to my data.

Then the following day it was shown that the parcel was still in Germany. As the assigned delivery date was for the next day then it was clear that the delivery would not be able to be fulfilled as the parcel was in Germany.

When I challenged UPS Customer Services about the inconsistency of tracking and that they had NO IDEA where my parcel was in Europe, they were not able to answer.

Then the following day (the date of delivery mentioned above) the parcel was delivered!!

This company is inept!

Nothing ever changes with UPS!!

What a joke, as they are never willing to listen or change their approach. I have offered my knowledge in relation to the delivery of goods for my sport and they just ignore it and continue to repeat the problems.

Amazing company and products and price

The products are really useful, but what makes using this company is also the quality of service and the staff that provide this amazing service.

Every time I contact this company they clearly listen and do all they can to help and answer questions.

I just want top say a big THANK YOU to them, and I would TOTALLY recommend this company to everyone.

The company lied about the requirement…

The company lied about the requirement of documents needed by UK Customs. When I checked direct with UK Customs they told me that my parcel had gone through with no issues and as a result no paperwork had been requested. The only reason why I did not give the details that they requested was because I understand my rights and the law around the products I had bought.

Also Customs confirmed with me that if they needed further information or clarification, they would not be in touch with the delivery company but would go direct to the sending or receiving people.

The rudeness of UPS Customer Services and Brokerage Team is wellllll out of order!! Some calls were cancelled due to me asking the staff to spell their names (just to know who I am talking to) or to put me through to their manager (due to their rudeness). Every time I called in I had to explain everything again from start with agents that I knew they would not be able to help.

Many promises were made by UPS staff that were not fulfilled, in fact there were only 3 members of staff that had Customer Centred Customer Service!!

The 3 core pillars of their company standards have all been destroyed during the process of my parcel from entering the UK to me receiving it.

I would NOT recommend this company in anyway as they are NOT trustworthy.

I now want the contact details for your Data Protection Team so as I can continue the complaint I have started with the UK Information Commission Office. But your Customer Service department refuses to give it to me.

25/01/2026:: I have followed the email Connor asked me to message to, and yet they still cant send me the email address for their DPO/T.

The further web page they sent me to message has a required box that I have sent 2 messages asking what GBS AD-ID means? I think I might have to contact the ICO to get further advice.

Total lack of Customer Services

In this day and age i totally understand that we need to be patient with everyone, but when companies just seem to totally ignore you and show no effort to deal with your issues then this takes it beyond being patient.

When the delivery was made (11-04-202) the drivers refused to wear any gloves at all, and said that it was 'no point in wearing them as they are making lots of deliveries!

After delivery was completed I then wiped down the outside of the machine as per the advice of Public Health England. On doing so i found that the machine was dented.

I have spent nearly 5 hours trying to get through on the phone and sent 3 emails, and recently in PM on Facebook, and still no closer to a resolution. The one time i got through to a Customer Service Agent they were eating during the call, and eventually dropped the call.

My case should be a straight forward to resolve and probably take 10mins on a call maximum to resolve. To be a week and half since the delivery and with a machine that is not able to be used sat in the kitchen cannot be customer service. They seem to just want to get as many orders and as much money in rather than providing a good customer experience.

I have bought so much from the stores, and this is the first time i have bought something from the Curry's online system to be delivered to my home. At this moment in time i can not see any reason why i would use the online system in the future again.
