Thank you for sharing your experience. It is of course very unfortunate to hear that the motherboard on your laptop stopped working after 18 months.

We just want to clarify that all products purchased from us include a 2-year warranty, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer. If the service center has assessed the issue as not covered by the warranty, it is usually because the damage has been classified as user-related or caused by external factors, which unfortunately are not covered by the warranty.

It is stated in several places on Luxplus.co.uk that the membership prices are only for members and that one becomes a member when purchasing products for membership prices.

It is stated for example on the starting page, next to every product, under the section “subscription” and “terms”. As a customer you actively have to choose whether you want to buy a product for membership price or normal price. Under the membership price we inform that you start a membership when you purchase a product for a membership price. A membership is also added to your shopping cart when you purchase products for membership prices for the first time. Furthermore, you have received a confirmation to your email with information about your membership when you placed your first order.

You can always cancel your membership, either by yourself or by contacting our customer service.
