60th Birthday surprise

We bought the birthday cake for a friend's 60th birthday. It arrived on the day and she was thrilled! She loved it all from the presentation tin to the last deliciuos crumb!

We visited Whitby this autumn and the biscuits in the hotel room were from Ringtons- a name we did not know. They were the very best ginger and oaty biscuits we have ever had!!! In conversation with a friend who hails from Hull, she mentioned she really missed Ringtons biscuits so we decided to send her some!! One very happy friend!!

I'm not sure who to blame for this…

I'm not sure who to blame for this problem but my local Sainsbury's has introduced Smartshop but does not provide scanners, I have to use my phone. Before Christmas I wanted to use my points (totalling £30 as Sainsbury's are very mean with the points!) but the Smartshop screen informed me I had 0 points. The assistant suggested that my card was new (it wasn't), my card had been deactivated (it wasn't) but made a phonecall and assured me it would work on my next visit (it didn't). I have now spent an hour phoning and live chatting to Sainsbury's customer services, Nectar and Smart shop. I have received sympathy but no practical help. Nectar sent me to Smart shop who suggested I contacted Nectar! Apparently there is a Smart shop expert in every store but I've not seen one yet. This has been a totally frustrating experience!

Parcel was left in full view on my doorstep!

Parcel was left in full view on my doorstep. No attempt was made to leave it with a neighbour, all of whom were home and happy to take it in.
