Dreadful performance
I paid for flowers, chocolates, a card AND guaranteed delivery for my daughter’s birthday - she lives about 200 miles away. I ordered 4 days in advance. I was sent a confirmation email and a tracking number.
On her birthday, the tracker showed that the courier was ‘awaiting’ the parcel. After midday, I contacted Serenata via their chat. After a couple of hours, I was informed that the supplier had a technical issue and the parcel would be delivered 2 days later. This left my daughter with nothing from me on her birthday.
I logged back on around 4pm - to a banner headline of “Order before 9pm for next day delivery” - yet the delayed delivery for my order was 2 days away.
The next day I got an email saying they would deliver that day - which they duly did - but there has been no offer of a refund of the guaranteed delivery cost, which was supposed to happen if the delivery failed according to the website.
Instead, I’ve had a request almost every day since for a review with the chirpy ‘How did we do’. So here it is - the second review I’ve given on this occasion.
You did VERY BADLY!!
My confidence in Serenata as a company I can trust has completely gone.
