The delivery was on time and the driver…

The delivery was on time and the driver was great. 5 stars for that bit. Unfortunately one corner of the pallet was badly damaged, to the point where it is unusable. Hopefully I’ll not need to return my purchase, but if I did, the pallet would need major repairs before I could use it.

Dreadful performance

I paid for flowers, chocolates, a card AND guaranteed delivery for my daughter’s birthday - she lives about 200 miles away. I ordered 4 days in advance. I was sent a confirmation email and a tracking number.
On her birthday, the tracker showed that the courier was ‘awaiting’ the parcel. After midday, I contacted Serenata via their chat. After a couple of hours, I was informed that the supplier had a technical issue and the parcel would be delivered 2 days later. This left my daughter with nothing from me on her birthday.
I logged back on around 4pm - to a banner headline of “Order before 9pm for next day delivery” - yet the delayed delivery for my order was 2 days away.

The next day I got an email saying they would deliver that day - which they duly did - but there has been no offer of a refund of the guaranteed delivery cost, which was supposed to happen if the delivery failed according to the website.
Instead, I’ve had a request almost every day since for a review with the chirpy ‘How did we do’. So here it is - the second review I’ve given on this occasion.
You did VERY BADLY!!
My confidence in Serenata as a company I can trust has completely gone.

Excellent fitting job!!!

The delivery was on time. The appliance has been here only an hour, so no comments on that.
This was a replacement dishwasher, so all the plumbing was in place, but it turned out to be a complicated job. The guys were amazing - a real attention to detail and a thorough job.
The dishwasher is integrated and everything lines up perfectly.
I can’t praise the fitter enough - he was absolutely superb!!

A tale of incompetence - apart from a lovely Customer Service person

I ordered 2 sets of plants - one lot are due at the end of April, so this review is purely for the first set I ordered.
A box with plants arrived about a week later - unfortunately they were the wrong plants, I notified them immediately - they would send out the correct ones immediately. A week passed - no plants. I phoned again - it turns out my order had been cancelled, even although the plants were in stock. The lady I spoke to was lovely - she went off to investigate and actually phoned me back later. The delivery date for the plants that were in stock is March next year. How is that 'in stock'??
So they had cancelled my order and not told me about it!! I did get a refund on that part of my order.
I understand that a genuine mistake was made with the original plants - that was just sloppy. But cancelling my order and not contacting me was a different level of incompetence. If I look online at my account, the plants are still showing as having been delivered. Poor show T&M.

Food & customer service are both excellent.

Fantastic food for a start. Also fantastic customer service - a delivery was not made ‘next day’ - totally the courier’s fault. When the food arrived a day late, most of it had defrosted. It was still useable - we ate nothing but curries for 4 days. I notified Chef Akila about it and a full replacement box was sent out and delivered on time! Free of charge! Excellent service!!!

I paid for 48-hour delivery

I paid for 48-hour delivery. Royal Mail - your choice for delivery messed it up and the card and present arrived the day AFTER my brother’s birthday.
Royal Mail sent me a delivery slot on the birthday date and failed to deliver. They then sent me another slot the following day and managed to keep that delivery!
BUT, it was a day late!

Good product, great service

I ordered Brosteel 60 paint to paint exposed steel beams. It came within a couple of days and I started to paint it on with a brush. This was difficult and gave a 'lumpy' effect. The second attempt was with a small foam roller and this was a much easier process with a good finish. I'd strongly recommend

When something goes wrong

I ordered a dishwasher and it was delivered the next day. I had chosen the fitting service, and the guys unpacked it. The top was completely broken, so the guys phoned ao to say they were bringing it back to the warehouse. While they were on the phone ao phoned to see if everything was fine with the delivery. On hearing that it wasn't, they apologised for the inconvenience, they apologised for not being able to get another one to me that day and promised a new one the next day.
That afternoon, I had another call from ao, apologising for the inconvenience and confirming the next day's delivery. They delivered a replacement dishwasher the next day, installed it and I am delighted with it.
I have used ao twice before for large appliances and had no hesitation about using them again. This is the first time something has gone wrong and I was delighted with their response. Excellent customer service! 11 out of 10!

Excellent service & price

I ordered 2 items, which were delivered within 3 days. Condition of the items was excellent. One of the items was about £43 in other places - here £25. Will definitely use them again

Excellent Service - provider of choice

I started to use Printerland when I was looking for a home office printer. I had problems with setting up the printer and they gave me the manufacturer support line number. Excellent!
I have been going back since then for supplies and the service is always first class. I don't even think of going anywhere else now - I know I will get excellent service from Printerland
