Gave my address to a stranger.

When sending my order, there was a mix up with my seeds and someone who lived locally. No issue, mistakes happen.

However, when I emailed them I was extremely concerned to receive a phone call from the company advising that they'd given my address to the other customer and advised him to come to my home to swap the seeds. Not 15 minutes later, a stranger was banging on my front door which I opted not to answer. Had I been asked if this was acceptable, I would have had less of an issue, but the lack of consent was extremely troubling.

When I addressed this with the company, I received a very unprofessional, defensive email filled with disingenuous apologies and lessons on morality such as 'Personally, I come from an area where that’s what people do, you help people' and 'it’s a shame that in 2026 trying to solve an issue can cause something like this, but it’s a sharp lesson learned'. It completely bypassed Steve at Budget seeds that this was a business/customer relationship and that giving out my personal details was a complete breach of GDPR. I truly do hope that the sharp lesson was learned.

Also I still haven't received my seeds in the post. I will not be buying from this poor excuse of a company again.
