I’m retired now but after 45 years of creating and operating businesses, I’ve been around.

I, like many thousands of other people, have read copies of multiple irrational, unprovoked, and unhinged personal attacks against a certain young lady online that were written by the owner of BlackLabelPaper.com, ParchmentPaper.com, and BuyParchment.com.

I have witnessed many instances of mean hearted stupidity in my life. I have personally dealt with functionally illiterate buffoons who bungle from one self-made calamity after another. But I don’t think I have ever witnessed a business owner strut their character flaws, apparent incompetence, and literary impotence so boldly in public as this business owner has repeatedly done.

Business owners self-destruct every day. There’s nothing new about that. But to see Mr. Howard engage in so many embarrassing unforced errors…it was like watching a runaway locomotive on a collapsing bridge hurtling engine-first into a 300 foot deep gully. I am truly in awe of the spectacular crash and burn. This guy picked a dumb fight with a more intelligent and articulate foe and got plucked like a geriatric laying hen.
