I discovered Zero Waste Outlet through my Shop app. I had points that were expiring that were greater than my normal $1 or $2, so I thought I would see if there was anything I could use them on. Turns out we’d been needing a new dish brush, and I was keen to avoid plastic. Zero Waste Outlet had the item in stock and I had enough points to cover the cost of the item, meaning I only needed to chip in for shipping (which was a steep $7.99 but I get it). I sent the order through and received the email almost immediately that the order was being packed up. And to my surprise, not long after another email told me it was shipped, and it really was! (I get so sick of those email notifications saying the order is on its way, but when you visit the carrier, it says the label was created - sometimes it has taken weeks before that status changes to picked up by shipper). The order arrived within a day or two, and we are very happy with the brush quality. Oh, and I ordered cotton swabs as well. There was zero plastic in the any of the packaging and I love that I’m supporting a small family business that cares about the planet we all inhabit. The personal note was a nice touch as well. I will definitely continue shopping with Zero Waste Outlet!
