Authentic, Cosy and Friendly!
Visited this past weekend for a Valentines day meal, and had a fantastic time. We had a selection of sashimi, sushi, tempura and yakitori and all of it was exceptional. All really fresh and high quality. I'm no stranger to Japanese cuisine, I've been to Japan multiple times, and this restaurant felt like one of the most authentic experiences I've had in the UK.
Aside from the food, the service was also a stand out quality, really friendly staff who made our evening really nice. A hidden gem of a restaurant!

Best sushi I have had in the UK
Best sushi I have had in the UK. I grew up on Sushi in Vancouver BC as well as living in Japan for a few years. Excellent quality and service. Go go go!!!!

Authentic Japanese cuisine
To be honest, a town like Stratford shouldn’t have a Japanese restaurant trying so hard to be authentic. The choice of sushi was excellent, fresh and perfectly seasoned. Although not the cheapest (but not the most expensive either), it offers great value for money.
It took me a year and a half to get around to visiting but now I can’t wait to return.

Feel like being in Japan
There were lots of variety of Sushi and quality was very high. We felt like being in Japan(as we are Japanese). A bit expensive. But we can't complain at this quality.

Lovely independent restaurant with…
Lovely independent restaurant with excellent quality, delicious food. It was our first visit to a Japanese restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We opted for veggy/vegan dishes from the menu and they were all really tasty especially the Yasai Gyoza.

Lovely
Lovely, fast, and friendly service and really delicious food. We had a maki roll and ramen (tonkatsu and seafood) and everything was incredible. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious Japanese food
Absolutely delicious Japanese food. Tucked away in Stratford upon Avon, this family run Japanese restaurant is a real find. The range offered was outstanding and it was really fresh and expertly prepared. We will be coming back soon!
