Yaya has received over 2,000 five-star reviews on Google and is used by tens of thousands of families across the region. Yaya was founded in Dubai by parents Rui Pinto and Marilena Hadgianni to solve a problem they experienced firsthand: in the UAE and Bahrain, most families still find nannies and maids through informal Facebook groups and WhatsApp chats — an unstructured, unreliable process with no verification, no transparency, and no accountability.
