However, we must clarify that your review contains information that does not accurately reflect the circumstances of the policy. For transparency and to assist other readers, it is important that we outline the factual position.
Reviewing the record to which you are referring, we can confirm that you are not a customer of XYZ Insurance Services LTD. Your husband, however, is. You have today contacted our Customer Services Team to request information regarding your husband’s account. Our Agent has correctly, and politely, advised that we are unable to divulge any information regarding our Customer’s account without their expressed permission to do so – regardless of your relation to the Customer. You were further advised that if your husband wished to grant you access to his account, he would need to contact XYZ Insurance Services LTD to provide this authorisation; which could be enforced moving forward.
XYZ Insurance Services LTD are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. To maintain our licencing we fully comply to all set regulations including the General Data Protection Reform (GDPR) Act which became enforceable as of 2018. Whilst we appreciate that adherence to GDPR may sometimes be inconvenient, it is law – and designed to protect both our Customers and XYZ Insurance Services LTD equally.
We respectfully disagree that our adherence to law constitutes our Agents being unhelpful or unfriendly. Our Agents were happy to explain why they were unable to assist you and provided instruction so that assistance could be granted in the future. We therefore disagree with the suggestion that you have been provided with poor service by XYZ Insurance Services LTD.
Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please have our Policy Holder contact us to arrange the necessary authorisation to do so. Alternatively, they may contact us themselves to discuss.

Minibus policy
Took out a policy for a minibus which was £1200 but cancelled the policy well in advance before it started but the company still took £380 cancellation fee, saying the finance company paid the policy in advance hence the charges.
Be very aware when taking out a policy with them.

This forms part of our due-diligence process and is designed to ensure that all purchases made with XYZ Insurance Services LTD are done so with informed consent. The Compliance Call is completed with complete transparency; including your rights as a customer should your policy be cancelled at any time – this includes informing you of all non-refundable set-up fees and cancellation fees. Please note that this information is further confirmed in your Welcome Pack and is viewable on our website at any time.
XYZ Insurance Services LTD are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, you can therefore be assured that all fees charged are in line with both regulatory and industry standards. We can further confirm that your owed refund has been processed, this may be delayed due to the Bank Holiday period – please feel welcome to contact our Customer Services Team should you require further assistance with this.
As this policy was purchased following the provision of all required information for you to make an informed purchase, we respectfully disagree with the suggestion that you have been provided with poor service by XYZ Insurance Services LTD.
