It doesn't get any easier than Zocdoc. I always get the doctor I want and can see ALL available time slots..without having to wait on hold interminably. I've used it several times now, and my appointment has always been acknowledged by the doctor's office. It's a no brainer.

It's tough navigating a complex medical history. The process of finding the right provider on your own can feel exhausting, especially with the endless phone calls, insurance inquiries, accepting new patients or not, long holds, practically bargaining appt availabilities, the shock of next appt availability some time in the next century, and occasionally feeling like you're bothering medical office staff. There is something empowering about being able to SEE your options and choose what works best for you. It gives you back a sense of independence that can feel lost when you are actively seeking help and almost begging for care. I love that ZocDoc gives me the ability to browse providers, READ REVIEWS, check availability, and book an appointment all on one site. Easy Peasy.

The entire process was easy and all from my phone.

This has been a disaster. I booked an appointment online and the provider had to cancel it at the last minute due to an elevator malfunction in his building (I can't climb several flights of stairs to get to his office). This is no one's fault but ZocDoc keeps contacting me about my appointment even though I have repeatedly responded that the appointment had been cancelled. I will never use them again!!!
