We recently sold our house through Your Move, Belper, and would never use any other estate agent, now that we know the quality of their support and extent of their professionalism. The sale was complex and at times looked as if it might founder, and we were grateful for the consistently reliable, patient and wise insights and expertise of both David and Stephen, who managed to see the bigger picture at all times. How lovely to be able to whole-heartedly recommend such excellent practice!

I live and rent at Basingstoke. I have been very distressed by the service provided by right move. All the room heaters in my apartment are non functional and i raised this issue one and half months back in fixflo, but still maintenance team has not fixed the issue. They are so irresponsible to the situatuon that they have now stopped responding to me. It is very painful and stressful for my family to live without heaters in this winter and then pay full rent of the apartment. Its a severe health hazarad but no one of them is concerned. Because of them i am living in extreme cold even after paying full rent. I demand a quick fix plus a compensation for what i have been going through.. I can share details of all conversation happened between me and your move (showing agent incompetency and delays caused by them at their end) and i have all proofs.
There is no clear hierarchy or escalation point for me to reach and hence i am left with no option but to escalate at public forums.

Your Move at Crawcrook The help and service was second to none from coming to value the house to putting it on the market and informing me of every viewing. It was the first time I have sold a house and especially as The house belonged to my father I was his executor. They helped me by keeping me right what needed to be done from needing probate forms I needed to fill in. Everyone was help full but especially Denice and Katrina. I am hoping everything will be finalised soon. I definitely recommend Your Move for excellent service.

I'm writing regarding the property at Elm Close, Dartford. I viewed the property last week and subsequently placed an offer of £445,000, which was accepted. Steve contacted me on Friday afternoon with the good news that my offer had been accepted. I have provided them bank statements and AIP etc.
Afterwards, I looked through some their reviews, which initially made me concerned. However, my own interactions seemed satisfactory until this morning. At around 11:00 a.m., Steve called me to request a payment of £78 for ID verification, which I paid. During the same call, he asked about my solicitor and mortgage broker. I informed him that I already had my own preferred professionals in place and followed up with an email around 11:30 a.m., requesting that he send me the Memorandum of Sale.
To my surprise, I received another call at approximately 12:00 p.m. from Steve, who informed me that another prospective buyer had viewed the property over the weekend and was now offering £450,000. He pressured me to increase my offer, suggesting an additional £5,000. I expressed my concern that, in my experience, once an offer is accepted, the property should be marked as “sale agreed,” and further viewings should cease. Continuing to show the property and soliciting higher offers after acceptance undermines trust and creates a never-ending bidding process.
When I raised this point, Steve responded that it was a “bidding-style sale” and that I should only consider my offer secure if it was the highest. I pointed out that this was never mentioned in the property listing. Additionally, he insisted that I should appreciate his efforts and that he was being “transparent.” From my perspective, this conduct is unprofessional and misleading.
Based on this experience, I must conclude that this is one of the worst agencies I have encountered. Their practices waste time, cause unnecessary stress, and lack professionalism. I strongly advise others to avoid them, as there are many reputable agents in Dartford who conduct business with greater integrity.
Finally, I kindly request them please permanently delete my bank statements, Agreement in Principle documents, and any other personal information you hold, and ensure that my details are unsubscribed from your database.
