Young Driver are a company I would recommend to any young people who would Ike to gain confidence in driving.
The venues are local, easy to find and are well signposted.
The areas used are large enough for basic driving and more complex maneuvers.
The driving instructors are very friendly and patient.
They are also great with children who many have extra needs.
My grandson loves it. He has been having lessons with Young Driver since he was 14 and is now ready to start his own driving lessons at 17.

My 11 and 13 yr old kids had a great time. The day was really well run and the instructors were friendly. I had read before I booked a few parents complaining their kids spent the hour not being able to learn the clutch control and spending the whole hour stalling in the car park and was worried this would happen to my kids but my 13yr old daughter got in the car and was away almost instantly. My 11 yr old son took a few minutes to get going and stalled the car a few times throughout his session but still spent 95% of his time driving around. I did not see any kids having any issues while we there and was amazed to see so many children from 10 yrs up meet their instructor walk to the car and drive straight off.

The only issue I had was I bought vouchers through a third party and they were a nightmare to redeem on the young driver website although I still to this day am not sure how much was 'Young drivers' fault and how much was the fault of 'Red letter days'

My son is SEN,horrible experience on the second lesson and when we did address internal issues and inexperienced instructor ,manager Joanne was useless and very rude! Avoid this company

We booked a one hour lesson in an automatic at Manchester Old Trafford for our 13 year old son’s birthday. He is SEN/ASC and super anxious. Stuart went above and beyond to speak to him on arrival, reassure him, show him the car, and even suggested the lesson was moved forward by 15 mins so our son wouldn’t be overwhelmed by queuing with other people. My son absolutely loved his lesson and we’ll be trying to book again with Stuart as he was so kind and understanding and a great teacher.

Daughter really enjoyed her experience. The driving instructor was lovely and patient. It helped her confidence when out driving on the roads.

Great experience for the young drivers. Good location and well run events. Instructors are professional and have give good instruction and feedback. Sometimes offers can be found. We find the hour seaaion just the right amount of time.

They made my 16 year old daughter feel very relaxed and at ease, on her first time driving a car. She really enjoyed her experience and learnt a lot.

My children had a lovely experience, they were made to feel welcome and talked through every part of the process. Will be coming again soon!

My 10 year old grandson loved it. he is now on his 4th lesson this year and has asked if he can have the young driving lessons for his birthday and Christmas . The instructors are really kind and patient with the young children. The booking process is very quick and easy.

My 16 year old grandchildren sat in the driver seat for the first time and after 1 hour came away being able to steer around cones, reverse around cones and drive through the gears. The instructors were very good and friendly and Chepstow Racecourse was really great with plenty of space for the cars.
