Fabulous service and a fabulous bed!
I'm very pleased with my lovely Sophie bed, delivery was perfect and communications were second to none.
I was prompted to buy from Wrought Iron & Brass Bed Company, following my daughter's very positive experience with this company. She purchased her single bed from them fifteen or so years ago, it would seem that their high standards haven't changed over time.

Outstanding customer service and product
Amanda, Harry and Nikki were incredibly patient and supportive throughout the entire ordering process, especially when it came to helping me choose the right bed frame and colour to match my specifications. Their guidance was personalized and never rushed. I felt like they really cared about helping me make the right choice.
They went above and beyond, and their genuine kindness made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. I’m absolutely delighted with my Grace bed frame, and I truly appreciate the exceptional service I received. Lovely iron bed and great customer service
We've just bought the black Sophie bed in kingsize. The company were great to deal with throughout. Good, clear communication, and everyone was really helpful and friendly. The bed looks beautiful and the build quality is fantastic so I don't think we'll need the lifetime guarantee! The delivery team were great - we've got a small cottage and tricky stairs. They were careful and managed it easily. All in all a great experience.

Scammers
I am writing this to warn other businesses about this company. They currently owe us a lot of money for the shipping costs which they refuse to pay, despite receiving perfect service from us.
We handled three separate shipments for them to Hong Kong, Canada, and the USA. Every single shipment was delivered on time, safely, and without any damage or delays. We have documented proof of delivery and all communication was confirmed via email, yet they continue to ignore payment terms.
We have since discovered through Creditsafe that this appears to be their standard operating procedure. They have registered multiple companies under the same name and address. Every time they accumulate County Court Judgments, they dissolve the company to avoid paying freight forwarders and suppliers, only to start again.
Do not be fooled by any new trading accounts that appear "clean"—this is a pattern of behavior.
We are currently taking formal legal action to recover our funds. I strongly advise any business considering working with them to look into their dissolved accounts and financial history before proceeding.
"It is important to note that my previous reviews were only temporarily removed because this company repeatedly reported them. I only discovered this weeks later, at which point I contacted Trustpilot directly and provided comprehensive evidence—including proof of delivery and communication logs—to verify my claims.
Following a thorough review of my evidence, Trustpilot has republished my review. Despite the company’s ongoing and aggressive attempts to have this information taken down, the facts remain verified and the review stands. I have everything to back up these claims, and I am leaving this here as a warning to other suppliers about their patterns of behavior."

We take all feedback seriously; however, we would like to clarify that this review has not been left by a retail customer but by a logistics company previously engaged to ship goods to our overseas customers.
Several versions of similar reviews from this reviewer have previously been removed by Trustpilot due to factual inaccuracies and the inclusion of sensitive information relating to personal customer details.
The matter referred to in this review was initially subject to legal action. Following discussions between both parties, formal legal proceedings were stepped down, and the parties mutually agreed to enter mediation after an acknowledgement that responsibility for aspects of the situation was shared. The matter, therefore, remains ongoing and under formal mediation with legal representation on both sides, which limits what we can publicly disclose.
For transparency, our experience differed significantly from what is described:
• The USA shipment was separated during transit and arrived damaged, requiring replacement parts to be dispatched and a member of our team to travel to the United States to carry out repairs.
• The Hong Kong shipment was collected and delivered later than agreed, resulting in us providing financial compensation to our customer.
• The Canada delivery was attempted on a date when the end customer was not present, despite prior communication regarding availability.
These issues form part of the ongoing mediation process, during which responsibility and resolution are being formally reviewed. We remain committed to resolving this matter professionally and fairly.
We are happy to answer any genuine customer questions and encourage readers to consider our wider body of verified customer reviews when forming an opinion about our business.
As mediation is ongoing, we will not comment further until the process has concluded.

Since our previous response, the reviewer has amended their comments. We would therefore like to provide additional clarification for transparency.
We hold written confirmation from Trustpilot stating that a previous version of this review was removed after the reviewer declined to amend content that had been reported as defamatory and inaccurate.
Trustpilot confirmed to us:
"We reached out to the reviewer to ask them to consider editing or deleting the content you highlighted. Since the reviewer hasn't updated their review to edit or delete this content, we've removed the review from your profile page."
For clarity, the removal was not the result of repeated reporting but followed Trustpilot’s own review process and moderation decision.
The commercial dispute referenced remains subject to ongoing mediation following both parties agreeing to step down formal legal proceedings and address matters through a structured resolution process. As such, many of the claims being presented publicly are disputed and form part of that mediation.
We strongly refute statements suggesting a pattern of behaviour regarding company structures, financial conduct, or supplier relationships. These assertions are inaccurate.
We remain committed to resolving the situation professionally through the agreed legal channels rather than through public commentary.
We encourage readers to consider our extensive verified customer feedback, which reflects the genuine experiences of our customers over many years of trading.

Service excellence all round
I was already aware of the Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Company and we followed up a discussion with Harry on the company's stand at Burghley Horse Trials last September with a late 2025 visit to the company's showroom in Dersingham. We bought two of the company's top of the range Signature 1 mattresses for our home and holiday home. Delivery arrangements were made - communication was excellent - and duly took place. Delivery to our tiny holiday home cottage was always going to be difficult due to the stair configuration. However, James and Donatas were excellent and persevered. It was their last delivery of a long day - delivery to our home was their first one eight hours previously. Now we can sleep peacefully on two beautifully handmade mattresses at our two properties. People buy from people and this was an excellent company to deal with promising good old fashioned personal service. Well done.

Great Service and Product
We went to the store to view the options for bed frames. The service was excellent and the advice very helpful. We were kept informed of the status of our order and the frame was delivered on the day promised. The delivery team assembled the bed promptly and I’m busy lying on our comfortable new bed writing this review.

I ❤️ my bed!
I ordered the small double Edward brass bed and it is beautiful! The delivery was within the time window given with a call half an hour beforehand and it was assembled in super quick time. Not only does it look great but I had the best night’s sleep. The service from ordering to a post delivery courtesy call was all great. I would definitely recommend.

Beautifully Made Beds
I bought the Arthur (Emperor size) and the Elizabeth (Super King size) and both are beautifully made beds that a very comfortable and provide a great night’s sleep. There was a delay on the Arthur as it failed the company’s chrome plating standards and had to be redone but they happily lent me a bed in the interim. Great service form the customer service team and delivery team were excellent too

Edward bed frame
We bought the Super King Edward bed frame. The build quality is excellent, it exceeded our expectations, the design feels sturdy yet stylish, and we couldn’t be happier with how it completes our bedroom.
The whole customer service was outstanding and It was extremely helpful that the bed frame was delivered as promised and assembled for us in the bedroom.
We’re so impressed that we’re already planning to purchase a double for our spare bedroom in our move to a new home.

Sixteen months get a response!!
Just received a reply to my review which was made in July 2024. It did not take me seven months to contact you. The mattress was received in March 2024 and was delivered before the date I was told to expect it. We had the decorator in and so were unable to use the mattress immediately. When I discovered the mattress was the wrong one I telephoned three times and emailed twice before my husband eventually got through to you on the phone. He was told that if we weren’t happy with it after use it could be returned and exchanged for the one originally ordered. This was in April 2024. We did rotate and turn the mattress as suggested - with great difficulty as extremely heavy. When I subsequently contacted you, you refused to exchange the mattress and said that you had no record of the phone conversation with my husband. Strangely 16 months later you seem to have total recall of every detail. I suggest you read your reviews more carefully, reply honestly and respond more promptly.
