After having the same kitchen for 30 years we were recommended to use Wren. After many visits to the Peterborough store we finally managed to find our new dream kitchen. The salesman was very patient with us and very helpful. After 4 drafts we finally placed our order. From day 1 we had said we wanted white interiors in the cupboards. We chose our kitchen based on the display in store, which had white interiors. Our salesman checked with the store manager to confirm, we would be getting white interiors. After placing the order and paying a 10% deposit we were informed that our new kitchen would have grey interiors, both cupboards and interior doors. This was so disappointing and very frustrating. We had just taken out our old kitchen on the same day we received this news! This is also the week before our kitchen is due to be delivered. We had to change our plans and visit the store for another time. Again our salesman was very helpful. Both he and the store manager could not understand why this was happening especially as the white interiors are on display in the store. To avoid further delay with the delivery of the kitchen next week, we have ordered different door & drawer fronts. At the point of writing this review we are unable to get a new price of our kitchen as the order is ‘locked’. Very worried what the next few weeks hold and very disappointed with our ‘ordering’ of our kitchen. This does not reflect on our salesman as he has done his best to help but has his hands tied to some degree.

I want to share feedback regarding my recent experiences during my kitchen.
First, early in the process, I was assured that the bin lids could be uplifted with Store Manager involvement. Based on this, I proceeded confidently, but this position later changed, which was frustrating and disappointing.
The Store Manager mentioned this issue was discussed in our final meeting, but we met only with the designer, the designer, who was unaware of our understanding. In hindsight, I should have paused, but I relied on the earlier assurances from Store Manager. I logged this with Customer Service, who apologized for the miscommunication and acknowledged that a commitment was made without consulting the production team.
Second, after delivery, we received a decor panel that didn’t fit due to space limitations. I called and left messages for the designer multiple times without response, giving the impression that once payment was made, customer issues were no longer a priority. During a video call with Customer Service, they acknowledged the design flaw and offered their apologies.
The main issue is inconsistent communication and lack of alignment between team members. Clearer communication would have prevented this situation and the resulting disappointment.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve communication for future customers. While this has been a lesson learned, the experience did not meet our expectations and will be reflected in my final review here and on other platforms.
Update 1:
I provided the order details to Sam on 12/02/2026 as requested, but I have not received any updates since. This delay is disappointing, and I would expect an update on the status of this complaint.
Update 2:
Sam, I would like to clarify that the issue was not actually resolved. I had to proceed with the option available to me at the time rather than the matter being properly addressed. I couldn't leave my kitchen in middle.
For that reason, I would not consider the situation fully resolved from my perspective.

After paying £11,000 for our kitchen and appliances in October, we are still waiting for new Fridge Freezer as the one they supplied is not the one we ordered. They won't supply a fitter to install the new fridge freezer, even tough it was there mistake. More worryingly they designed our kitchen to have induction fitted, however, our draw below the induction get so hot we can't pick our cutlery up out of the draw. It clearly states in the induction manual that a thermal protection covering should be placed underneath. Induction is open underneath and is a risk if you come into contact with it. Been advised by makers NOT to use it. So been waiting 4 months to use our induction. DO NOT GO WITH COMPANY, customer services is shocking

I haven’t been offered a visit home and no suitable fix had been offered. DO NOT USE - unbelievably unhelpful service from the “snagging team” and Peterborough store.

Changing our minds about the sink, taps, door handles. You name it, we erred.. returning to the showroom multiple times, over several weeks until Mo helped find the right arrangement for us.

Disappointed
I had high hopes for Wren kitchens their show homes are beautiful however my experience with customer service has been the worst ever! The person who measures your kitchen is not the person who designs it so if your kitchen like mine is an older building with some unusual shapes it's hard for them to understand and plan properly so units that didn't fit arrived! This left us without everything we needed for fitting
Now my kitchen is fitted I do like how it looks
However the plastic film is sometimes not easy to remove as very thin so on one door it just won't fully remove
I have two chips on two doors already! One month after fitting and they are refusing to replace it even though I am meant to have a 10 year warranty apparently chips are not covered!
When you need help from customer service they don't assign one person you get random people who have not been helpful there was one lady called Pegan ? Who was excellent but she wasn't permitted to be my point of contact for some reason
I would never recommend Wren the process from start to finish was not streamlined and felt quite stressful

So this is my interim review of Wren which I said I would write. 4 weeks into my so called Dream Kitchen project and nothing has been resolved. I’ve been assigned an area installation manager which took 5 days to organise, despite being told I would hear from him within 1/2 days by HO. He can’t come out to visit until 11th August, some 4 weeks after my kitchen installation begun, because he is a very busy man. I was even told by HO, Jackie, that’s it’s a Friday so give him time to get in touch despite the fact I was promised a call by the Wednesday! When the gentleman phoned me he had no apology and said he didn’t know what I was talking about in reference to the promise of 1/2 day contact!!! His approach to me was somewhat hostile and he didn’t seem to know about my case in detail. I expressed my frustrations but he didn’t appear particularly interested. Let’s see what happens on the 11th! I have no running water and no temporary work top, no ovens and no working sink. My “dream” kitchen project should have been completed 2 weeks ago but it’s looking like it may take up to 8 weeks due to all the failings by Wren. Avoid the Peterborough store big time along with the HO customer services team, apart from Duncan, the Manager of the quartz installation team, they have broken me. It is my son’s 30th birthday on the 6th and I’ve had to cancel everything as my kitchen is not fit for purpose. My lad is in the armed forces and the added stress of having to reorganise everything is beyond belief. But Wren don’t care about any inconvenience they cause you. You just get passed from pillar to post. You are made to feel the culprit. So many promises made from the sales team! It’s a complete joke. I have had numerous sleepless nights and had ulcers in my mouth caused by all the stress Wren have put upon me. The Sales Manager at Peterborough says he is looking forward to seeing my photos of the completion of my dream kitchen but he has stopped communicating now. I wonder why!!! Thanks for listening. There is so much more I could tell you! I will update further after my field installation manager visit. Please please avoid Wren. So far I have received so many comments who all sadly agree with my experience! I work for a very reputable retail company and I can assure you, no one is ever ever treated with such contempt as the personnel at Wren treat you, apart from Duncan from their quartz team. Employ more Duncan’s and this will almost definitely start to help improve your overall dreadful customer service experience.

Well, we are around one year in from our purchase from Wren Kitchens. The company is very slick - great show rooms, slick sales and gimmicks but the hard product is far from slick. Firstly they made some inexplicable changes to our 'design', all done at the last minute and sadly we didn't notice. So when our fitters came to install it it didn't look right and they had to botch it back to the draught design as best they could. So we now have joints in surfaces that should not be there. Thanks. Secondly the small shelves that slot into the cubby holes and wine rack were missing - despite two requests they failed to send the correct size replacements and so we have a wine rack that isn't a wine rack. Thanks. Thirdly - after one year of use the kitchen is showing what poor quality it actually is. The oven had to be repaired. The hob extractor is now fractured and will soon need to be replaced. Some of the draw supports are constantly breaking or coming loose. Its just overall very poor for the huge amount of money it cost. Some of our friends bought a kitchen from Wickes at the same time we bought from Wren and their kitchen is faultless and of a much better quality. I would not recommend Wren at all. Don't get sucked in by the slick corporate side - you will regret it and be stuck with a very expensive but poor quality kitchen.
