JonP arrived punctually having called to ask if he could bring the appointment forward, which wasn’t a problem. Jon advised me that he could complete the survey without any input from me other than the site of stop tap, gas and electricity meters. I did have a few questions about various elements of a Wren kitchen, which he was more than happy to answer. I found Jon’s insight to fitting the kitchens very useful as he was a fitter before transitioning to a surveyor and has been with Wren for 5 years. I found the appointment hassle free and very informative and look forward to the appointment with the designer next week.

Sales pitch was great, paid for my bedroom wardrobes up front, then down hill it went. Costomer services are poor, for such a large company they are only oprn 9 -5 Monday to Friday. Bed room should have been fitted on the 14th March 26, I had the 11th March off for delivery, was delivered but parts missing, I asked what hapoebs was told by the driver i needed to phone the number in the design pack, i could only see the store number i phoned them, they said they would get the sales persob who sold me the wardrobes to ring me back, 6pm came no call, i rang again to be told i needed to ring customer services but they were now closed, he offered to send an email to them, i expected to here from customer services either a phone call or email, nothing, so i rang on the 13th March to be told the missing parts were coming on the Monday 2 days after the fitting, they hadnt informed me of this, i had to quickly change my work schedule to accomadate, i would never have been informed and they would have tried to deliver to an empty house. On Tuesday 10th March the installer rang me to say he would see me on Friday the 13th March, i said no you are booked fir the 14th March, this seems to be a common theme with Wren. The instalker came on the 14th took measurements says there was a problem abd needed to go to the store, i never saw him again. This left me with 40 plus boxes in my house for the following month. Customer services take little to no responsibility, there attitude is enough to make you lose your temper, im unclear what script they are using but its anything but customer focused. They told me i could find my own fitter, that they had delivered the service when i pointed out the wardrobes were still in boxes and that i had paid for fitting he backed away from his comnent. That they work on a 6 to 8 week lead time, they appear to have no contigency plan for if things go wrong, when i asked about the missing items, they said we do 2000 bedrooms it goes wrong on occasions, eventually they found a installer, i told them i could not do the 10th April but i coukd do the 15th, Instalker duly contacrs me to say he will see me on the 10th April, i said i cant do the 10th Wren know this, he saud that what theyve booked, luckly he changed his plans to accomdate me. I had attempted several times that i wish to complain they tried to steer me away from that each time, i eventually insisted i wanted to complain I never heard from Wren again until Monday 20th April when a manager rang me, i said is this about the complaint no he says ive sent your guarentee, i relayed my disgust at the service again, i said i would like to know where my complaint is in the system, ive not heard from them again.
They seems to think that you can take endless time off work for their errors, then be patronised by a very limited customer services, if the firm spent more money on customer services and operations they might have a half way decent service.
The products are good they are to a high spec but the adter sales service is shocking and due to this i woukd never ever purchase from this company again.

That means you're now going to have to pay even more for a cooker/hob connection and or connection of the sink,dishwasher and washing machine. In my daughters case that was an additional £1600 on top of the original price. Thankfully they don't yet charge per screw and nail. BUYER BEWARE !!!!

Probably the worst £20k I’ll ever have wasted in my life. What kind of kitchen company sells you a kitchen but can’t fully fit it as they don’t have tradesmen that don’t do electrical work?… had to arrange for my electrics to be done by a third party … I needed to cut a door to size and they couldn’t supply me with the trim that goes with the door?…. The oven wasn’t fully fitted in… just left unsecured… the after sales service was shocking… didn’t want to know once I’d paid £20k in full

Wren has been amazing from the beginning of our new kitchen journey through to the end. Everyone we have spoken to has been wonderfully helpful, from Nathan in the Derby store - using his expertise to help us design our perfect kitchen over multiple visits and remained positive and humorous despite our constant procrastination! Nothing was ever too much for him. The customer service we received after delivery was also brilliant. We had a flood immediately after our beautiful new kitchen was installed due to a faulty appliance that was not supplied through Wren, and Nick in Customer Services was so wonderfully helpful with getting replacement units, and showed compassion and understanding of our situation. The quality of the units, and the support we had from Nathan and with the design, and Nick with our issues means we now have our dream kitchen. I’d recommend Wren to anyone

Delivery. Respectful to our home interior, worked well as a team, professional and curtius to us. Delivery lorry parked thoughtfully, cones placed at back of lorry. All health and safety was followed. Would highly recomend this team for delivery.

2 years to conplete...accepable? Please pass on to MD to reply !!! Order number was 38004267...we had to pay for our own floor fitters, as Wren supplied ones failed to return in a timely fashion.

the units and appliances were all delivered on time and all faulty items were replaced very speedily .this was 2 years ago and I am now trying to get a replacement part for my cooker hood, I called in to the Derby branch and was given my order number and contact details for the manufacturer. however on their site it states that the appliances carry a 5 year warranty despite numerous emails regarding availability of the faulty part I have heard nothing so now my only option is the retailer

Excellent service throughout.
Was really good to see the layout on a screen and change things as we wanted. The sales lady was very helpful and kept checking how our building work was progressing so that delivery could be made on time.
Delivered today within the timeframe, everything handled carefully and exactly where we wanted it.

Overall experience - not to be recommended - friend canceled her proposed kitchen and bedroom ( worth @ 40k) on our experience show room just didn't care in the slightest when told of the reasons why.

So we had a £25k kitchen installed by wren and initially had alot of issues with the installer in the end had to assist him with alignment.
6 months- taps replaced due to corroding
12 months- the LED strip lighting failed, derby wren were not interested, i had to replace the drivers myself.
18 months- the drawer runners on the island failed, delamination in various places.
Ive had the kitchen 5 years now and Ive been into store repeatedly (fobbed off) messeged the facebook page (ignored) and called repeatedly to to calls just dropping or put on hold.
I just want some flaming runners!!

All in all yes im disappointed with wren i really expected better, i really wish after all the saving we did we had gone with another company

Our experience with Wren Kitchens has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. We spent £11,300 on what we hoped would be our dream kitchen, but it’s been nothing but stress and disappointment.
The problems started straight away – damaged items, wrong parts sent (which then took around 10 days each time to replace), and plans that were incorrect even after our kitchen was measured twice. The plans are confusing and hard to follow, and when we called for help, we were told that “if you had a Wren kitchen fitter, they’d know what they’re doing” – which was incredibly unhelpful and frustrating.
To make things worse, we’ve had three induction hobs arrive smashed, and although our kitchen was delivered on 28th August, it’s still not finished due to all the damaged and missing items.
For the amount of money we’ve spent, the whole process has been appalling. If we could, we’d rip the whole thing out and send it back. I would strongly advise anyone considering Wren to think twice before ordering – the service and quality have been far below what we expected.

Derby showrooms was a great experience,only issue and it is a big issue in my opinion was that we weren’t told that we would be without a sink until the quartz worktop was fitted( currently it will be installed Friday 10th October so in total 18 days without one. Apparently wren provided a temporary sink during this period but stopped it this year, obviously to save themselves a few quid and two fingers up to the customer who has paid extremely good money to be left in a mess. The fitter Dan(wren supplied) has done a superb job, very efficient and conscientious( electrician &plumber he advised to use also done a great job up to yet( not finished yet). Customer service are absolutely atrocious!!! We had 4 damaged doors which Dan arranged to be replaced even before I knew about them. We then got an email saying they’d be delivered 7-12am Monday 6th October, I rang and informed them (20 mins on hold) that nobody would be in and to deliver it in the afternoon, after a further 10 mins on the phone I was told they couldn’t get hold of anyone and they’d sent an email requesting this and if I hadn’t heard anything by end of the day to ring back tomorrow!!
Now in my humble opinion they’ve delivered a faulty product so they should be doing all they can to sort out the issue not tell me to ring back. Anyway against my better judgement I did ring the day after( 15 mins on hold) and spoke to another lady and was told that as I was the furthest delivery from the depot that day that it couldn’t be changed, so I said that’s not good enough were not having another day off work to accommodate this.
Told the lady that nobody would be on so it’s not worth sending it. That was 3 days before delivery day and amazingly today I got a call at 6.52am to say they were on their way so I said don’t bother as nobody is home. They suggested leaving it outside which I refused as when they delivered the full kitchen and the fitter wanted it leaving outside they made me sign a disclaimer, so why should I now let them do that?
The customer service has REALLY soured this experience by seemingly not caring or resolving any issue I’ve raised.
The kitchen should be finished this Friday after the quartz is installed (again quartz measuring person was a credit to wren) and Dan can finally come back and finish the installation.
Just don’t expect anything from the Wren Customer service team they are shocking!
An update on the review as follows:
Wren got in touch as promised within a couple of hours and the issue was sorted out to my satisfaction. I also had an issue with the fitting of the quartz worktop that in my opinion didn’t look great but my wife signed it off as she was told wren wouldn’t pay for the nook as they described it, I emailed the person who dealt with above situation and he got in touch with the quartz team and I received a call the next day to inform me they would come out and fit another one as long as I was ok with them cutting it at my property. Said yes and it’s booked in for next Thursday.
So in summation had an issue which they said they’d deal with and did very promptly and professionally, then another issue that they dealt with in the same way, so very happy with the service and outcome since review so now definitely a 5 star review.
Further update, Got a call from grace at wren saying my 28 day snagging list had begun in 21/10/25, emailed grace on 24/10/25 to log a door that needed replacing and an issue with the cooker door and microwave, now the 29/10 and no response forthcoming so they’ve reverted back to what I thought in my original review. Hence one star again.

Well all was fantastic at the beginning while they was trying to get your money the planning ect was great so we decided to go with it and placed an order on 28th and was told it would be about beginning of July for fitting . 10th July came and had heard nothing so went into the Derby branch to see what was happening and looked liked they had forgot all about us good job we went in. They arranged for a fitter to come round which he did and I could tell he was just not interested in the job which I was not happy about he said he would be I touch to give me a price for the extra works which he never did contact me so again I very worried about him turning up to do the job which was scheduled for 4th August . Kitchen was delivered 28th July no problems and the morning came of fitting surprise surprise nobody turned me and the wife and me have taken 5 days holiday from work has you imagine we are fuming. After numerous phone calls being put on hold time and time again was told the fitter was ill not really surprised at all he was a right drip. I’ve been complaining now for last 24 hours to no avail they just got no answer to when they are going to fit the kitchen keep being put on hold can’t speak to a manager so we are at wits end . Also we are having the floor fitted by wren which the dippy fitter said he doesn’t fit so being trying to organise with the Derby branch loads of phone calls and don’t answer text messages so god knows how we going to get kitchen fitted never mind the floor. Absolute sick to death of wren and it’s customer service is appalling.

Let down again for the umpteenth time by this cowboy company, promise after promise broken over and over having big delivery of wardrobes for 2 bedrooms, media unit and utility unit in 2 days, yet another fitter was appointed and should have been here today at 5pm to spec the job, I’ve called him twice and texted with no response. Wren should not be trusted, they just give lip service, if I hear nothing tomorrow providing a cast iron commitment I shall refuse the delivery on Friday and take legal action against them for all substantial monies paid and compensation for the expenses and stress caused!
