Clean website, good selection of Japanese tools

Recieved the Hammer on time. Superb quality and exactly as described. Leaving the head and shafts final fitting to the customer is great and ensures the safety and a nice personal touch to the completion of the product. Would definately recommend this company.

I’ve had a lot of great experiences ordering from this store - good stuff, reliable delivery and (usually) good customer service.

But my most recent order was really disappointing. A Ray Iles 1” rounding plane which was not set up properly and wouldn’t even take the test cut you need to make as a first cut with these usually great tools (I have one other size and have used other ones too). The REALLY disappointing bit was the utter failure of Workshop Heaven to even respond to me. I emailed their support@ address within an hour of the plane arriving because it clearly wasn’t fit for purpose. I heard nothing and emailed again a few days later. Nothing. I even tried mailing their sales@ address - nothing… This simply isn’t good enough and belies the other experiences I’ve had with them

I have received exceptional service and outstanding assistance when making my latest purchase from Workshop Heaven. Not my first time shopping with them and I have always received superb service from start to finish. This time Workshop Heaven has shown that they put the customer before anything else by ensuring my complete satisfaction over sales and profit. I’ve bought various items from Workshop Heaven over the years and always had good experiences, but my most recent order was very disappointing. I ordered a set of Victorian Cabinet Makers chisels which arrived in a very poor state. The ferrules on five out of six chisels were loose, and several handles had severe and visible tear‑out. For the price and reputation, I expected far better quality, and I’m now having to deal with the hassle of organising a refund.

This company is fabulous! I bought a variety of items for my son so can’t review them individually so I thought I’d write an overall review. The products are excellent and always on sale so great value too. I had a query and the lady there dealt with it in a kind and professional way and resolved my issue immediately. I was a little anxious calling but she was very warm and reassuring and I felt calm and satisfied after the call. The missing item arrived the next day. Excellent customer service and I will always go to this website for my son’s carpentry business. I told him to as well! Thank you Worshop Heaven :) x

Been looking for kitchen unit plinth to cushion floor seal, couldn't get any local to me, ordered Friday here Monday morning, exactly as described and what we needed, not sort of thing you order every day, will check company next time we need stuff, many thanks Phil.

One of my sons has decided to change his career from computing to carpentry - his favourite hobby. Now is then a good time to get him some new kit. The shooting boared is strong and well made and will serve him well in his new career.

Everything working great but..
It is a week now that I have tried to get hold of Workshopheaven without success, have sent several emails regarding a product that they indicate in their website that I believe is incorrect information.

The reason why I, although no feedback, give 5 stars is because everything has worked well and I do not want to smear Workshopheaven because something must be wrong with their email system.

Stuff arrived very quickly and looks as good as it did on the website,looking forward to using my Narex chisels and quangshen marking knives a nice feel and finish to both. Well done guys 🙌

Lovely high quality little fretsaw with convincing fastenings for adjustment, blade securing and tensioning.

As always, Workshop Heaven supplied me with a perfect tool that was ready to use on arrival. Fast, one or two days for delivery! Excellent boxing, good cardboard with expanded stuffing that contained my square that was in its manufacturers box with literature and labels. The square itself was factory greased and required only a wipe with cloth to get clean. 1st class product and attention to detail all round a great purchase!

Purchased as a gift for our son, he was so happy and impressed with the quality of the products

The Workshop Heaven website is easy to use and products are accurately and fairly described. My order was promptly dispatched on the day that I placed it. Delivery was within eleven days to my location on a provincial island in the Philippines: in my experience this is pretty much the norm for couriers such as DHL.
The goods were securely packed and arrived in good condition. Just one minor niggle, the use of polystyrene noodles for packing. As far as I know they are not recyclable and make unpacking a bit of a faff …
One other point is that I can only see one option for delivery to the Philippines, courier by DHL. You might like to review offering Royal Mail airmail as an option. I have had several packages airmailed to me recently without problem (this was not always so). Delivery time is less predictable than DHL but not unduly so much longer. The lower delivery cost makes placing orders for just one or two lower priced items viable, currently I tend to hold on until I have requirements for sufficient items to justify the cost of shipping.

Bahco files are good quality. Bought them because of the good price. I'm a regular customer and the woodwork school I work for uses a lot of Workshop Heaven tools. Couldn't fault the service, always very helpful.

Incredibly responsive and accommodating. They also stock a nice curated selection of sharpening systems. Will be shopping here again in the future!
