I’d been to a few used car dealerships and Woods of Wirral we by far the friendliest and helpful, pleased the car I purchased would recommend Woods of Wirral to anyone looking to purchase a used car

Bought a car from this dealer. The car itself drove fine.

However, the vehicle had an IVA history (2018) which was not disclosed at the time of sale. This only became clear when I tried to sell it.

A dealership pulled out after seeing this on the V5C, and I had to sell the car at a reduced price.

This is important information that impacts value and resale. It should be disclosed upfront.

Make sure you do your own checks before buying.

Car sold Unfit to drive and dirty on collection. Right to Reject was delayed.
I had the car health checked after purchase which failed with several issues and was unfit to drive! After being told told car had just had a service

I would advise people to be very careful when dealing with this car dealership this is my personal opinion and cant speak for anyone else.

From my experience, there are a few important things you should know before buying:

1. Do not leave a deposit. If you change your mind, you are unlikely to get that money back.

2. If you decide to go ahead with a purchase, make sure you arrange your own independent inspection of the car first. Don’t rely only on what the dealer tells you.

3. If any faults are found, get the dealer to agree in writing that they will fix the issues at a garage of your choice, and that they will cover the full cost.

4. If you are unhappy with the overall condition of the car after buying it and want to return it, which you are legally entitled to do so for full a refund within 30 days be prepared for a difficult process. You may not get your money back easily and may have to take legal action or go to court to recover what you are owed.

Overall, proceed with caution and make sure you protect yourself at every step.

Travelled a 2.5hr round trip to look at a car that was supposedly ready to drive away, to find it covered in mould.

I bought a car from this dealership they advertised the car incorrectly misleading me into a purchase, after purchasing I came to repair my vehicle thats when it all went wrong, the car is discontinued and parts suspended from manufacturer.

Filed complaint with trading standards and finance I will be following up with ombudsman.

Dealership ignored me complete, email, voice mail and missed calls never got back to me.

After care is non-existent.
This has impacted my mental health greatly. I don't trust them and if I was told about the car I wouldn't never of purchased it

I experienced excellent customer service. They handled all the paperwork and even took care of the car's tax on the spot. Took the pain right away. They were upfront about the car having no warranty due to its age (a 2012 model with 96,000 miles, diesel). They also clarified that they do not perform mechanical inspections. However, the car had passed its MOT just a month prior, and they showed me the advisory sheet, which informed my decision to buy.

Unfortunately, a week later, the head gasket blew up costing around £2,000 to repair. Now, I'm worse off without a car. My advice to other customers is: don't make the same mistake I did. If a car isn't sold with a warranty, consider it a potential risk not worth taking. It could be a ticking time bomb.

After buying a vehicle from this garage I had some issues regarding the MOT and missing parts that should have been with the car Its handbooks and back parcel shelf. Woods would not replace them saying thats how we bought the car. Without going into to much detail the MOT was legal bbut borderline. They give you a 3 month warranty value £500 not worth the paper Its written on. They would not even pay me the small amount I had to pay out for the parcel shelf and handbooks £79.00. So please do yourself a big favour and buy elswhere. Check out the online reviews plenty of other dissatisfied customers. I would not buy another vehicle on principle from this back street garage a back street family run business of sharks.

They lied about the warranty. It’s cost me thousands. Don’t buy a car from them if you don’t want to get ripped off
