Selected one wrong colour in error when…
Selected one wrong colour in error when buying 3 chalk paints. I was on crutches at the time and paid online and collected at the store. Items were bagged and sealed and put straight in the boot - so I did not realise the error. Realised after Christmas when I went to open the new tin to finish a project. Owner refused to exchange a few weeks later saying ‘the paint would now be out of date’. On contacting Frenchic directly, tins of chalk paint have a life expectancy of 18-24 months! I now buy my paint from Porthcawl and Cowbridge, where they are more knowledgeable on their products. Frenchic said they would contact the store to make them aware of the shelf life on their products. Was not impressed as had been using this store since it opened.

Thank you for your review however I do believe if you are going to leave a bad review and bad mouth a business that you at least tell the truth.
I am assuming from some of the context in your review that you are the anonymous lady that rang the store back in April this year (4 months AFTER your purchase in December 2021 - I have now been able to check my records as you have left your name on the review) and was so busy screaming abuse at myself and crying hysterically down the phone that I couldn't get a word in edgeways before proceeding to make verbal threats towards my business and promptly hanging up.
You may wonder how I remember it was April but having never been spoken to in that way by a customer before the conversation is etched in my mind.
There are not many businesses that will offer an exchange or refund 4 months after purchase and I was within my rights to refuse - there was at no point any mention of the paint being 'out of date' - I actually didn't even get as far as giving you a reason as you were too busy screaming at me however to make it clear as it is clearly still bothering you five months later - it is our online policy which is clearly stated on our website that refunds or exchanges are to be carried out within 14 days of purchase - not 4 months later.
The way you spoke to me was truly awful but the fact that you then had the audacity to contact Frenchic weeks later and ask them to dissolve their association with us because you couldn't get your own way was inexcusable.
It's extremely rare that I have to ever say this but we will not tolerate abusive behaviour or attempts to extort from us - your custom is not welcome in our store or online.
Shame on you!

Part of my order arrived broken in the post. I messaged and heard back quickly and the issue was resolved and a new item given. My experience was a positive one and I will be returning. Many thanks.

Id like to thank Sophia for the amazing service. I have recently purchased from a small business and had the worst experience (4weeks land still waiting for communication and my missing items) it had totally put me off buying from small independent companies and I was unsure to purchase from wooden top homes incase I had the same experience but I'm so pleased I did. I've had countless emails about my items being dispatched and also from UPS about delivery. My order even arrived a day earlier. I can't thank you enough for putting my trust back into small businesses.

Good price and service - UPS who deliver order not so great
I am very happy with the service and price of the Frenchic paint from Wooden Tops. However, I have had to make a complaint to UPS. They tried to deliver my order once and because I wasn't in, the driver then decided to drop it off at a shop over a mile away. For this reason I wouldn't re-order again.

I can see that you ordered on a Friday (like most companies we don't ship on a weekend) and we are closed on a Monday therefore your order was picked up, packed and dispatched on the Tuesday using a next day tracked service and you received it the following day. We physically couldn't have got your order out to you any quicker and as we also moved premises and warehouses that same week! Sophia x
