Our eagerly anticipated trip to Saint Barthelemy, meticulously planned over months, turned into a nightmare solely due to WIMCO's utter failure to fulfill their promises. Despite booking well in advance and confirming every detail, including a luxurious villa to accommodate our family, WIMCO managed to single-handedly ruin our vacation.
Just hours before our departure, we received a distressing email informing us of the cancellation of our villa reservation due to nearby construction noise. This wasn't just an inconvenience; it was a devastating blow to our long-awaited reunion. The suggested alternatives provided by WIMCO were a laughable insult to the standard we had paid for. Shabby accommodations with obstructed views and minimal amenities were offered as replacements, demonstrating a blatant disregard for our expectations.
The lack of accountability displayed by WIMCO's representative, Bobbi Owen, was appalling. Instead of taking responsibility for their oversight and ensuring a satisfactory resolution, we were met with excuses and empty apologies.
