Vile scammers! Not road worthy cars and they fiddle the cars so warning lights don’t show. This is dangerous and can cause serious accidents. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!

Widowhillcars helped me secure a quality second hand car for my parents who didn’t want to spend the earth and had a vehicle which was not cost effective to re test. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable catering for our every need. The car was exactly as advertised no issues and came fully MOTd with six months warranty and break down cover. Can’t thank the team at widowhillcars enough they were amazing.

Bought a car from them in late 2025. Second hand and 15 years old so expected a second hand fifteen year old car!

Problem was 6 months MOT when was told 12 and no warranty.

I politely enquired why it differed from the advertised produce. Got totally blanked.

Several polite attempts later equalled the same result.

So decided to go straight in legal. Usual nonsense excuses. Paper work issues etc, someone off sick. All B@llocks. Soon produced the warranty and sorted the MOT.

Crazy customer service. If the car had the advertised warranty and MOT it would be a 5* review.

Guess it’s a case of if they get away with it 50% of the time and it’s high volume it’s a win. No way for repeat business.

Real shame. Actually really like the car and till the follow up really good to deal with.

Terrible company WIDOWHILL CARS BURNLEY, really nice and helpful till they got your money car looked and sounded great till it was delivered what they advertise you get with it is a total lie.

valleted YES was visualy tidy
multipoint inspected NO no oil in engine (told when in for mot by inspector), no water in washer bottle, brakes rusted and rubbing, oil leak, corrosion etc.
not what you expect or need when buying a car.
Also have tried getting in touch but they dont answer the phones or reply to emails or txt.

Absolutely spot on, the customer service has been great and the whole process has been easy. The car has been spot on (1 series bmw) Going back soon to look at another car for my wife. Thank you guys. Bought mine back end of October and taken back today for the mot I was promised came with the deal. Would recommend 100%

If I could give a ZERO star I would. I paid a deposit for a car that has since sold on 22nd OF DECEMBER. Despite numerous attempts to retrieve my deposit I am still left waiting. Excuse after excuse about the salesman not working with accounts and the woman in accounts being off. Absolute garbage. Unprofessional customer service. Highly doubt I will get my deposit back. I have been told I’d get a call back, that was 7th January still waiting for a call back. Have rang Maz multiple times now he won’t pick up the phone. Don’t waste your time with this two bob outfit. Go elsewhere.

Terrible experience. Paid a deposit on a car which turned out to have lots of issues come up on the MOT. We decided not to purchase and were told we would receive a refund of the deposit. Well over a month later, we are £200 worse off and lots of excuses about the accounts person not being available. They were quick to take a deposit but can’t seem to pay it back as agreed. Basically theft! I will amend this review if I ever get my deposit back…

My sister bought a vehicle from them recently she paid 2000 for the car and £250 for it to be delivered it is completely misal to her it has damages that we're not stated it also says it had a full MOT well the MOT is fake as the window wipers are blocked and other malfunctions and also I have taken it to my partner who has been a mechanic for over 25 years and I said this indefinitely I want my sister's money back this is absolutely disgusting shares tried endlessly contact them and they are completely unreachable yet before the delivery of the vehicle they were on point with their responses and like I said now she has not been able to get hold of them once

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! Do not buy from this company, absolutely disgraceful from start to finish ..aftersales?? What aftersales ... didn't return my calls, messages, texts !! Car had no MOT mistake apparently) ... so many things wrong with the car which I have had to put right. A complete disgrace... do not trust them.

You were looking for me for 2,500 pounds. And that's a lot of money for me. I'll see you in court soon. How can you cheat people by cleaning up their broken and damaged cars?

Bought a BMW 1 series yesterday (19/09/2025) very very pleased with the car, an immaculate example, extremely clean and well looked after. The whole process was extremely smooth and all of the staff were very friendly. The car came with 6 months warranty, full 12 months MOT and £50 free fuel. All around a smooth purchase and extremely happy with the car. Would definitely recommend to everyone and will definitely be checking here first for my next car!

Bought a Hyundai last week lovely little car. Great service would highly recommend

Purchased a car, reported fault within 30 days, now won’t answer calls and ignoring all communication of my complaint. Fault with exhaust which was welded but they would not listen to my concerns relating to fault with catalytic converter and engine leaking oil with white smoke emitting from the exhaust. When I took the car back, I was advised we won’t replace catalytic converter as not viable and to continue to drive and they will give me my money back if still faulty. My initial query was answered with "we don't take cars back" when I have legal right to return if faulty within 30 days therefore, I would strongly recommend a mechanical inspection before buying a car from them and don't take their word or advert description as truth. I have kept all logs and screenshots of communication in case anyone is doubting the authenticity of this review.

I recently bought a Honda from this garage but when it arrived it had 5 lights on the dashboard. The owner asked if we could sort it out and would refund the money.
We have paid over £400 to get sorted as the car was sold witm many issues.
We have taken action and heard nothing back.
This business is a disgrace to the industry.
Please avoid at all costs

Car unroadworthy with broken rear arm
Corroded sub frame ,leaking fuel lines ,corroded brake lines
Supplied with years mot and turned up with 3 months and warranty not registered
Tried to return car on day one and they have blocked all communication and we still have car undrivable
Car been independently inspected and condemned for scrap
Now taking them to court

Hi this car dealer zero customer service ask to view car day before travel from 16 miles away today 14/05/2025 when arrived at widowhill car sales guy said we sent car yesterday for an MOT you can go the and view it 😀 what a joke anyway went the to view it vauxhall corsa BN62FTZ
Headgaskit gone definitely not recommended please don't waste your time to visit this car seller sadly
