I've been using wickes for years and in particular the watford branch. Not only have they had a great selection of goods I need for various jobs undertaken but the staff are consistently very helpful too, especially "Kirti" who always takes time, answers any queries and is always very helpful. An asset to " Wickes" and always service with a smile..

Excellent customer service from a colleague Haroon went in-store to get some Water softener salt tablets.This individual could see me struggling to load the 3 bags onto the trolley he went out his own way stop what he was doing and loaded the 3 bags for me even went to the extreme to load them in my car for me.Great customer service from Haroon and the store highly recommend using Wickes Watford.

Kirti is professional,kind and provides good service.

We decided to buy our new bathroom from Wickes as we had had a bad experience in the past and wanted the guarantees and reassurance that Wickes provided.
From start to finish everything ran smoothly.
Tom who very kindly came to our house for the initial consultation was very reassuring and professional .
Everything was done on time and to a great standard and I would certainly recommend Wickes and only wish I had used them before.

Excellent service from Stephen Isara. He instantly came to my aid, sourced exactly what I wanted, carried it to the Reception desk, (lady there was also very pleasant) and carried it out to my car.

Great customer service at Wickes from everyone in the team especially from Sara and Kirti. Always there to help and make sure you get the product you need otherwise they promptly order it for you and notify you when it arrives.
Have been going to Wickes for years now and they are always welcoming in the early mornings and overall great service and staff.

I use Wickes in Watford for most of my building supplies, Kirti is around, happy to help and always friendly and polite.

Wickes Watford is my go to for building materials and timber. Friendly staff and Sara is a breath of fresh air early in the morning. Always smiling even during the darker winter months. Wickes has definitely filled the gap left by b and q’s decline…

I visited the branch today to purchase materials for my bathroom refurbishment and I received great customer service from a member of staff.
I was helped by Haroon who was very polite, helpful and knowledgable. I received great advice which helped me to make the right decision.

Deeply Disappointed with Wickes Watford Bathroom Service

I genuinely don’t understand how this store continues to operate with such a staggering level of incompetence.

I booked a bathroom design appointment at Wickes Watford back in May. I was greeted by Shannon, who clearly had no intention of fulfilling the appointment — she rushed out the door, saying she was busy that evening. She promised to work on the design and send it to me the next day. I didn’t mind at first, but she didn’t even take notes during our meeting, which became painfully obvious over the following weeks as I chased her repeatedly for the design. After three weeks of silence, all she gave me was the manager’s email so I could ask someone else to do her job.

I had a very specific three-week window (end of August to early September) to get the bathroom installed due to personal circumstances. Thanks to Shannon’s social life, I was now in a time crunch.

Jamie, the store manager, passed me on to Ben. I made it crystal clear to Ben that if the bathroom couldn’t be installed within that three-week window, I’d have to postpone the entire project until winter or later. He assured me it would be fine. We finalised the design, and then Ben disappeared to Poland for a week and a half. When he returned, we confirmed everything, only to be told that none of the installers were available until after my deadline. They're now refunding me the whole 10k+ amount...because as I said, I would not be able to do this project unless it was in that window. They've wasted their time and money, and my time and money. For what? Like why do that?

It’s honestly baffling how a company can operate with such poor communication, broken promises, and zero accountability. This experience has been nothing short of embarrassing for Wickes. I won’t be recommending them to anyone.

DAYS LATER THEY STILL HAVEN'T REFUNDED ME MY 12K
