Wickes - Watford Recensioni 

I was assisted by Kirti today, she always recognises me as a returning customer making it a personal experience, this is why Wickes in Watford is my preferred store. Thanks for the great service Kirti.

BETTER THAN BNQ… 100% for service. SAM & SEAN could not have been more helpful. I was actually Offered assistance rather than those dressed in Orange at the competition 🤫, who run away 👀. I got exactly what I needed and they even helped me to retrieve the stuff that wasn’t on the shop floor.. AMELIA & GORDON at the tills also deserve praise for helping me through a problem I created for myself. All in all, a very happy customer. (I don’t review often but certainly do when I feel the people named deserve a thank you ☺️ ). Now I need other bits, I Would go again to this particular store 100%.

Served by Kriti for a refund which was slightly over it's 30 day period.
She recognised I am a regular customer and honoured the refund.
The team at Watford store has always generally been good.

The staff are very helpful, and will go out of that way to help.

had an in-home bathroom design appointment booked with Wickes for 2:00pm yesterday, and the experience was extremely disappointing.

Shortly before the appointment, the store manager called to say the designer, Gary, was on his way but would be 15–20 minutes late. I waited. At 2:30pm, having heard nothing, I called the store and was told he would be “five minutes.”

By nearly 3:00pm, I then received a call from Gary himself saying he was still in the store and asking if he could still come. This made it clear that he was never on his way at all, and that I had been given inaccurate information by both the manager and store staff.

At that point, he was almost an hour late, and I cancelled the appointment. I don’t think it’s acceptable to keep customers waiting based on misleading updates. If the designer was still with another client, the appointment should have been rearranged honestly rather than encouraging staff to give false timeframes.

Very poor service and a complete waste of my time.

I just had to write to praise the fantastic team at Wickes Watford, especially Jara Kirti. From the moment I approached her, Jara was a superstar—incredibly helpful, impressively knowledgeable, and she solved my query with ease. Thanks to her, I left with everything I came for and more, feeling completely confident in my choices.

The positive atmosphere created by the whole team is noticeable; everyone is so friendly and willing to go the extra mile. It’s always a pleasure to shop here, and today’s experience was a perfect example of why!

I ordered my kitchen from Wickes Watford. Tom was brilliant and so was my fitter, Liviu, who was accommodating when I asked for tweaks to the design etc. the final look is amazing! Workmanship is fab!

I have been here before and still no cooperation from Wickes. In August they took £46.50 from my account without permission. I continue to fight to try and get it back. Wickes are very unhelpful.

Someone at Wickes Watford Branch has taken £46.50 from my card without my permission, I do not use the Watford Branch, I live in Wakefield. Wickes dont seem interested in trying to sort it out. My last 2 emails have been ignored.

Bought a new Simoto kitchen tap from your Watford store on Thursday 13th November 2025.
On friday 14th November thought we would undo box and check tap while waiting for our plumber to arrive. We discovered there were various parts missing. Had to cancel plumber who was on the way. We telephoned your Watford branch where we had purchased the tap and spoke to a very very helpful young man named Jamie. Watford didn't have one in stock but he managed to source one from your Hemel store he went and collected it from there and we collected it on Saturday.
Were not at all pleased at being sold something with parts missing and if it was not for your very helpful young man Jamie you would definitely NOT be getting any stars from us.

We cannot praise the customer service we received from the Watford branch high enough.
From the start when we had our kitchen designed, right through to when it was installed, the service has been wonderful.
Particular thanks goes to Tom who was so helpful, professional and patient with us even when we kept changing our minds on the design!
Thanks too goes to Matt who fitted the kitchen. His attention to detail was second to none.
Both Tom and Matt were a pleasure to deal with.

The staff at this Wickes store are always friendly and happy to help, especially Kirti. This store has a great range of products and I much prefer coming here than the other DIY stores.

Sam is vey helpful. Every time I come on he always shows me where to go and is always kind enough to share some advice which has helped me greatly. Fantastic assett to to the business. Thanks Sam
