Beginning to regret.....

After my plan was drawn up for a new cloakroom and bathroom, there was questions I wanted to know as there things that didn't make sense, saw items i didn't think i needed and there was items not on there, but been charged for labour work?

Then the installaton man texted the following week to say he was calling to my home one evening to survey my home, didn't arrive and when I texted him the next day to asked if when would he be likely to call, he didn't reply back at all.

I been calling my store several times, left messages but nobody calling back. Communication has been very poor. I also wanted to change some ideas of my plan but I'm getting nowhere.

Call the national call centre and very unhelpful. Not getting anywhere with this. I dread to think where is going to now.

Garden secateurs - don't bother

I purchased 3 secateurs from our local Wicks, a pair of general purpose cutters, and one that was more heavy duty. Two of the three fell apart after a couple of uses. While the price of their own brand secateurs look attractive, they are false economy.

Great customer service!

Don’t buy a kitchen from this company

Everything went wrong and still not resolved. Bought a kitchen from wicks cwmdu ind est store. paid just under £11,000. On 21st November it’s now 1st April and still not got a working kitchen. The original designer got the measurements wrong and had to have another designer come out to remeasure. Anna was brilliant in resolving the problems but all 3 walls the measurements were out. So the kitchen had to be tweaked around. The inconvenience this caused I had an electrician in the house putting plug sockets in and had to stop it all. When the kitchen was finally delivered they only delivered the worktops (No Kitchen units). I had a kitchen fitter booked to do the work that was put on hold. I had to wait another week for the kitchen to be delivered. Then parts were missing so that was another week waiting. Then we noticed the one of the worktops was damaged so everything was on hold again. I have had 5 worktops delivered and all of the was damaged. I have had to wait a week for each delivery they won’t do an express delivery as requested on numerous times by myself why do they keep sending faulty goods out??. 5 times?. It’s not just the work top damaged that’s an inconvenience. Its the fact that I don’t have a sink in the kitchen as my sink sits in that worktop. I have a back problem and having to do my dishes in the bathtub. I have had no help or sympathy from this company. I think it’s a absolute disgrace. It’s now April and still not resolved we made the big mistake of paying in full for the kitchen and it seems once they have your money they aren’t interested. No customer service at all. No compensation offered just attitude. It’s me who has to spend my time and money chasing damaged goods. We are absolutely gutted we chose this company as had nothing but problems and no help. The store say take it up with customer service and customer service say take it up with the store?. We I would think twice about buying a kitchen from this company.

Poor communication Terribly run company

The worst thing I ever did was buy a kitchen and installation from wickes.
There has been problem after problem and there is no one in this company that will take ownership or help resolve. After spending over £17,000 on the kitchen and installation - once the payment has been taken they wash their hands of you and that is where Customer service ends. I have been in to the store multiple times and they send me away with incorrect information and numbers to call basically palming me off and not taking ownership. There is a leak in the under cupboard heating which they didn't check nor fix, just replaced a panel on the side of the cupboard not fixing the leak, so now the other side has water damage. New piece sent, then Was woken at 6:30am being called by the delivery man this morning of the replacement for the damaged piece, wrong piece delivered, yet I have to sort this - again, no one taking ownership. Went into store to get the correct piece delivered and she said she couldnt help and give me a number, Called the number I was palmed off with and they can't even find my order number. This company is just a joke who have basically robbed 17 grand off an OAP. If I could give zero stars I would. If the kitchen was fitted properly I would love it but it has been over a year of stress with no one helping within this company - they all just blame each other for issues that arise. 0 out of 10 would not recommend.

Online order

I ordered online for collection. Within 15 minutes had confirmation email that items were ready to collect. Jamie served me and carried the two heavy bags of pavior sand to my car without having to ask. Excellent service. Thank you.

1st Home project

During my visit to wickes i was unsure about the selection wood material that would be best for a project at home.
I was greeted by Andrew Torrington who was very helpful and pleasent. He was very considerate to all my needs and requirements. I would without doubt be using wickes cwmdu swansea for all future projects after the great service, professionalism and warm wlecome i recieved. Thank you Andrew Torrington
