Great staff. Good prices and deals. It's the only place I shop for my fit essentials

I visited your store in Sunderland this morning. Was helped by a guy called Billy. Billy was exceptionally helpful trying to find summer linen paint as this was showing 3 tins in stock. Billy literally took his time and looked everywhere. Unfortunately for me he couldn’t find it. However I wanted to say a huge thanks for his customer service skills. He really did care. Alex also helped me. So thanks to your staff. It’s rare to come out of a store feeling like the staff want to help you. Great work Wickes for finding excellent employees. They should be rewarded!

We had our kitchen designed by Susan Taylor at the Sunderland Wickes store. Her help and advice was invaluable throughout the process and she was there at the end of the phone to help with any questions we had. Overall a really great experience made so much easier by Susan

Went to Wickes twice over the bank holiday as we were trying to complete our decking.
Lovely store and everyone was very friendly.Cheap prices.

If only I had reviewed Wickes Bathroom services prior to spending £5,750 on a new bathroom. My infuriating experience cost me over four months of considerable inconvenience caused by incorrect products being ordered, out of stock essential items not being available , dreadful customer services from their central department, a local Store Manager that would not speak to me because we record all our phone calls (as do Wickes) Incorrect items being delivered / ordered and the correct items missed from the schedule. This company is not fit for purpose and I would never trade with them again. I am relieved that I commissioned my own trades to fit the bathroom only to be told by them "we could have told you so"... This review complains about Wickes as an entity and not simply the Sunderland branch. For the record I am not interested in having any further dialogue with this company as they have a full record of my interactions.

Visited the store where Sophie, the designer, patiently listened to my requirements and, with a few thoughtful additions and suggestions, transposed these into to a credible and cost effective layout. Sophie went beyond my expectations by advising me of numerous ‘special offers’ available both from Wickes and AEG, my chosen appliance manufacturer, and even assisted in finding a paint match for my cabinet fronts. Assistance was given throughout the order and delivery process with a delivery date arranged to suit me but outside the options originally proposed.All in all, a straightforward process from first visit to completion with support offered throughout.

Manager was so helpful even helped me to the van with my worktops

Good prices for laminate. Staff were extremely helpful and even helped us put the flooring in the car 5 star service

Good range of stock. I always seem to find everything i go for and end up getting extra items too. And the staff are always very helpful. Bought some tiles at an amazing bargain price of £5 per box, reduced from £45. And they are lovely too.

We had a challenging situation planning a kitchen for my son who was unable to be there. Sophie understood our situation, worked through the planning with us and answered all our, and his questions. Very much appreciated and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I asked Alison if our school could apply for a donation of command hooks for our corridor displays. She was more than happy to help us out and within days I was collecting what I asked for. Will definitely go to Wicks for my own DIY in future. Thank you Alison for being so helpfull

Small kitchen took nearly a year Fitters caused flood damaged new work bench and tiles terrible Paint started to peel off set of drawers contacted customer service disgusting service Tried to blame my kettle causing moisture then would not reply to emails Had to contact finance company Wickes told them it was wear and tear on an 1i month kitchen then said the damage was caused by pans getting taken out of drawer there are no pans kept in the drawer If it had not been for the finance company I would have got nowhere

From the moment we started the planning process with Susan through to installation courtesy of Dan and Sam we felt we were in safe hands.
Susan listened to us and, through discussions over three meetings, planned a kitchen that perfectly suits our needs and age proofing requirements. Susan also successfully matched the appliances we purchased to our technical abilities.
The installation team - Dan and Sam - were extremely efficient and personable. Dan gave us a timetable detailing what to expect each day. Installation was completed as planned with minimal disruption to our daily lives.
We would not hesitate to return to Sunderland Wickes for future projects.

I visited the Sunderland store today and I was pleased to say that I was assisted by a young man named Paul . Not only did he take me to the paint aisle to find the paint I needed but he also went to the store room to retrieve and extra tin for me . 10/10 for his politeness and customer service .

Can I just reiterate how much of a disgrace this company are..... After months of backwards and forwards emails to customer services and gid knows who else they've now said because it's been so long since we complained they aren't prepared to act in our complaint!
They asked for photos of damage caused on delivery of our bathroom which was sent, I have the emails. And they kept in asking for the same thing even though I sent them in the first instance. How convenient of you Wickes to do this after we spent a small fortune with you. Never again. And now your also saying we need a solicitor if we wish to make more fuss. How dare you. Absolutely furious and never again will we step foot in your stores. The bathroom got fitted damaged because we had no choice we have a family and needed it sorting and quick. We fitted it and out installer had to do all kinds to the bath to make it worthy of fitting what did you expect from us? Our bathroom was ripped out we had no choice. Disgraceful absolutely disgusting horrible conpany
