What went wrong ? Buying a 8k kitchen from wickes from 10th October 2025. 7 to 10 days for a tiny 5x5 kitchen to get installed, 16 days to complete and so many faults and customer services absolute useless. It's now 8 months later and still waiting for it to get finished.
Joke of a company .
And wickes advertise on the radio saying get a new kitchen or bathroom fitted , try 8 months and still counting. I wouldn't buy a tin of paint off them now, shambolic from top to bottom.
And now i know similar thing has happened to two other families i no so it's just not a one off, rip off.
Good thing is am not paying a penny to them so there will have to take me to court and explain how useless there are , cheats, liars and definitely useless, so be warned please don't buy off wickes, buy from elsewhere

I was not well and my wife went to wickes in South-shields and purchased 2 bags of silver sand the bags were to heavy for her and Brian placed the 2 bags in the car for her we are both very grateful for the help Brian gave that day.

Had to get some bags of sand & cement for a job tomorrow, but got a bad back.
Brian saw us struggling & offered to help lift the bags onto the trolley for us. We asked if he was finished, but he was on a break. He also took the trolley off us in the car park & unloaded the bags into the boot. Really appreciated the help & Brian was very professional. Great to see someone who cares about providing good customer service as these days it’s a rarity. Thank you Brian.

Audrey was very efficient and helpful helped us out to get the correct items we needed

I have a disability and walk with a stick, so to save walking around I asked a member of staff where the Thompsons water seal was ,she contacted someone to ask where it was and Craig Brought it to me in 2 minutes, greatly appreciated to the staff

I bought a heavy bag of sand in Wickes today. The Wickes team could not have been more helpful. Staff member Brian saw me struggling with it and carried it to the till for me, then insisted on carrying it to my car. Many thanks, Brian, for your invaluable help.

I’ve moved house recently and it has been massively stressful but I must commend Abbey for the work she has done as our designer. We haven’t had fitting yet but the process so far has been wonderful from her perspective and she even emailed me on her day off today! Which she didn’t need to but I appreciate nonetheless

I came in to the store today for a friend. They had given me a list of things to buy. I didn’t have a clue what to get so spoke to the first person I seen. That was Dave, he was incredibly helpful and not only directed me to the things I needed but helped me load my trolley with all of the items on my list. He was so friendly and helpful. I couldn’t thank him enough. His customer service was outstanding. Thank you so much Dave

Excellent staff, very helpful. We couldn’t find what we were looking for and approached a staff member named Brian, he was amazing supported us in finding everything we needed and provided information we needed.

Went on Saturday 4th April was not sure what i needed ask staff member fir help she called for a lad called Craig what an absolute diamond of help and knowledge of what i wanted so if your ever stuck any members of staff are very a1 but Craig's the man cheers wickes

I was shopping in Wickes in south shields couldn't fine what I was looking for so I asked a staff member who took me right to the iteam then when I went to the check out to pay a lady behind to till who was very polite asked if I had everything I needed in which I replied yes she was the sweetest lady full of smiles and conversation her name was Audrey you dont get that kind of acknowledgement from staff these days but Audrey seem to love her job and the customers she serves.
