Excellent advice from the sales manager. Final layout looks good on the eye, but....
We ordered and paid in advance for a completely new en suite shower and toilet unit. Paid in away for fitting in August. Fitter explained he was too busy, rearranged for late September. Despite being told of the rearranged date, all units were delivered in August, making out garage unusable. Fitter eventually did the work in November. However, no water pressure from the hot tap, & the toilet wouldn't clear away all the waste.
Contacted sales and the Fitter. It was agreed that it would be corrected in January. Fitter eventually came in May. Couldn't slove the problem and promised to follow up with customer services. No response.
Went back to sales, who told me to contact customer services. What a farce! I assume it is AI operated.
They asked for a video of the problem. Then closed the case saying the toilet was not provided by them! Had to go back to the store to confirm it was . Cust5vservices then demanded the original invoice with proof of payment. On receiving that informed me that the toilet and water are working properly, that waste products are often left on the side of the pan, and it is the responsibility of me to improve my cleaning routine!
I now have to get an independent contract tor in and take Wickes to the small claims court for recompense.
9 months of frustration!

Another problem with wickes installation of a shower in a house my son purchased 6 months after wickes installed the shower . The shower tray as cracked due to tray support installed in wrong place after removing the trim around the tray found at least 3 tubes of silicon holding trim to legs of tray . no support where you stand to have shower . I would love to had photos of the mess they charged the lady 5000 plus for . Would not recommend them . Having to get a builder in to replace everything they have done to make it safe

Spent a whole year looking for new kitchen option's then someone mentioned Wickes. We visited our local branch in Shrewsbury. The selection was impressive with many different options. During our first visit we were introduced to Colin who was the Design Consultant. He quickly found out our needs and came up with a plan. A home visit to make accurate measurements followed by a walkthrough back at the showroom helped us choose our new kitchen. A 10/10 experience. Thank you.

This is our fourth kitchen ordered from Wickes, due to house moves and property acquisitions, not due to faulty kitchens. Our Design Consultant from the Shrewsbury branch, Simon Brace was excellent. This was the second kitchen order that Simon has designed for us. He is helpful, patient and very knowledgeable. He went to great lengths to incorporate everything we asked for in the design and spent a great deal of time in providing us with a plan, and then amending it to suit once we altered our request slightly.
The units are now ordered and due to be delivered early September but past experience has led us to have every confidence that they will be of good and enduring quality. I would not go anywhere else for a fitted kitchen.
Prior to using Wickes we had had a hand built solid wood kitchen designed and installed by a very proficient carpenter. I have to say that Wickes are at least on a par with this quality and at a very reasonable price.

We bought 4 bags of Tarmac Cold Lay Macadam to fill holes in the drive as well as a bag of mortar for another job. One of the bags was split so we got that half price which was good. The customer service at the till was very good as Oliver bagged the split bag so it did not spill onto the car boot lining and also loaded the 5 heavy bags into the car for us.

From the initial consultation with Simon through to the planning, survey, installation and invoicing, everything was clear, simple and efficient. Great work from all involved.

Excellent service from Colin (Design Consultant) who measured and designed our new kitchen and from Phil Ward who installed the kitchen.
Colin helped us choose our units, worktops, appliances , sink, tap and flooring. He planned the kitchen and gave great advice on how to get the best from our new kitchen. We are delighted with the end result.
The kitchen was delivered a week before installation by the Wickes delivery service , the driver and his assistant were courteous, professional and extremely helpful.
Phil and his apprentice fitted the kitchen over a two week period, they were extremely tidy and carried out the work to a high standard. Phil kept us fully informed during the whole process, organising electricians and plasterers to carry out extra works , again to a high standard.
Overall we are very pleased with the completed project.

Had an excellent experience in store, a very helpful young lady called Emily helped me pick out my club hammer for my project. Very satisfied!

I use this wickes store quite a lot, always so welcoming and helpful, no task is to much whetcher it’s from having items delivered promptly to small things like finding items, I recently purchased a dewalt pin gun, after realising the item is faulty wickes couldn’t help me faster, they exchanged it without question, I’d 100% recommend this store

Excellent service, was welcomed into the store and had a great experience with the staff who guided me and gave some great advice to my project I'm working on.

Simon, the kitchen designer was patient and really helpful with advice on what would look best and save me money. I valued his opinion. It was like he was invested in my kitchen. I felt safe.

Wickes and citysprint.
Having spent £200 on a load of plasterboard I waited patiently in a house I’m renovating, from 1pm because my delivery slot was between 1pm and 5pm. I got a notification from citysprint saying that my delivery was 4 stops away… 4 hours later I was still at 4 stops away! So I got on to wickes so called customer service and pled my case, only to be told that “ Wickes operates between 7am to 7pm, after going round in circles I gave up because all the operative kept saying was it’s on the van and will be delivered today!!
This is the straw that’s going to break my back. I spend £1000’s per year with Wickes, but I’m going over to a different supplier as of today!!
Shocking, unreliable, poor quality products and terrible delivery.

From start to finish the whole sales experience and installation experience was brilliant. The Wickes sales rep Simon was very professional and had brilliant communication throughout the whole process. Then the 3 lads who installed the solar system on the two hottest days in June (36C heat!!) did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend Wickes solar.

We were at the stage of getting quotes for solar panels and Simon from Wickes was brilliant. The virtual session we had together was very informative and professional. In the end we decided to go with a local solar company as this seemed better in terms of realising future return on investment potential (flexibility for improvements, future compatibility, AI capabilities, and being on-hand locally to fix any issues). However, the quote from Wickes was still super competitive in terms of price (especially with TradePro) and potential payback time so would otherwise have gone with Wickes.

The staff at this particular store(Shrewsbury) are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and as a professional tradesmen very helpful to me. Prices are excellent and the quality is much better than other well-known orange places places
