Went to Wickes in Peterborough , fantastic customer service , spoke to a young man about wickes delivery service , he was very knowledgeable with great customer service skills .we ordered plasterboard , adhesive and finishing plaster and other bits and the delivery was only £4 as it was a low weight delivery , ordered the items at customer services desk Pamela was very helpful , the whole experience was great , easy to order and quick next day delivery . Well done Wickes Peterborough a fantastic service from both staff members

In December 2024 we went into Wickes at Peterborough and spoke to a designer Bethany Hickey. She was most helpful. She was supportive through the whole process from designing our kitchen to the very end when she came to see it all finished. She helped us choose the kitchen and accessories we wanted. She didn’t push us to have what we didn’t want. She gave advice and nothing was too much trouble. She was happy to show us on the drawings what the kitchen would look like and change colours etc so we could get an idea of what we wanted. When we needed to buy items from the shop floor she met us and helped us then as well. The Kitchen installer, plumber and electrician were all very hard working, professional and very polite. They were excellent at their job, they fitted and fixed things that were a little tricky and never complained. I would highly recommend all of those who sold/designed and fitted our kitchen we are very happy with it and the whole process. Definitely recommend.

I went to the Peterborough store as i am looking to renovate my house and I was served by Colin he was very helpful and knowledge on what I was looking for. I explained I am a landlady and I was struggling on line to apply for the Tradepoint account. Colin went above and beyond and was very helpful and created an account for me and viola within 5 minutes I had a Tradepoint account. His customer service was exceptional. Thank you

Staff were so helpful especially Sally who checked the system for a specific paint colour we had chosen which was out of stock. Staff were able to advise that it would be in the following morning and advised us to ring to confirm it had arrived before we returned to the store. I rang at 8am was answered promptly and confirmation given that the paint had arrived. We were able to collect from store where all staff had been advised and knew exactly what we had come to purchase. All staff went over and above thank you.

It’s rare to come across such helpful and friendly service, and it made my DIY experience so much easier. I had a great experience with Steve at Wickes in Peterborough. I've only been a tradesman for about 6 months, but without me asking, Steve offered to set me up with a trade card and took care of all the details. Really appreciated the helpful, no-hassle service. A true gentleman and top-notch service and a credit to Wickes!

Catherine nothing was too much for her, she was very patient with us and designed a beautiful kitchen with a great price. A competitor was offering same kitchen for a similar price but we went with Wickes only because the sincerity of Catherine, great service from her.

Literally struck gold when Catherine, Design Consultant, approached me in Wickes Peterborough whilst browsing the kitchens. Catherine came to my home to measure up, listened to what I would ideally want in a new kitchen resulting in a design that far surpassed my expectations! She has the patience of a saint and really knows what will work and what won’t. Highly recommend and I cannot wait for my kitchen to be installed. Thank you Catherine for all your hard work 5⭐️

Colin and Steve were absolute gentlemen, helped me to purchase the correct tools and timber for my emergency, first visit to Peterborough nothing but praise for the two chaps.

NEVER USE Wickes ever especially if your having a new kitchen or bathroom.
I ordered & paid in full (on my dream kitchen) on 5th February 2024 & my kitchen was completed in 9 months with 3 subcontractors.
The 1st subcontractor was dismissed by Wickes 5 days prior to installation (bearing in mind I had sold all my white goods) as apparently he had made a complete mess on 3 other kitchens.
l was given my 2nd subcontractor who came 6 weeks later, & after 13 days & him going missing for days on end (for personal reasons)he walked out leaving me with 5 live wall sockets hanging off the wall, Wickes knew about this as the field installation manager came to inspect and stated that it was the worst kitchen he had ever seen and he advised it needed a complete re-fit.
Also unbeknown to me our new fuse board that we had to have wasn't certified because I hadn't been given a certificate so my home insurance was void (& how could it be certified as complete when l had 5 sockets hanging off the wall anyway).
After another 7 weeks & a whole new kitchen being re-delivered the 3rd subcontractor came and refitted the kitchen but because my fuse board wasn't fitted properly I had to pay an extra £372 to another electrician to get the certificate.
I now have my dream kitchen and like I said before, it's taken nine months but Wickes have only compensated me £935 even though my kitchen cost me £17k & the worst thing is I'm disabled as I have Cerebral Palsy and Wickes did nothing between the 2nd and the 3rd subcontractor to try & make my home safe regarding Health & Safety Act 2005, as my husband had to make me a hot flask of water when he went to work so at least l could make a drink.
I feel absolutely deflated by the last 9 months & it's taken its toll on my mental & physical health.
