Wickes - Maldon Recensioni 

Had a great time in Wickes, especially thankful to our design manager Edith, who has created a beautiful design in time, according to the measurements, listening to all our wishes and suggesting the best of what they could offer. It’s a great experience!

We bought a bathroom through Maldon Essex branch. We had to delay the installation due to an accident.
However it seems that Wickes cannot put a delay on an order and had to cancel and replace. Consequently when we were able to start there were duplicate items delivered and some missing eg shower tray. The toilet was incorrect and had to be replaced with the correct one. The sink was incorrect albeit this wasn’t noticed until it had been installed so we decided to live with it (by then it looked like somebody else’s order!)
We mentioned the shower entrance to the installer as being too narrow, 35cm. We were advised that nothing could be done as that was the design. Again we have tried to live with it but really do have a problem. We sent an email to Customer Services who responded asking for photographs, which we sent by return. However we have had no further response even after a further chaser.
It does seem that once Wickes and their installers have payment in full, interest fades.
Tiling displayed in store were no longer available. This was not advised at the time of order.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Edith, a designer at the Maldon store, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She was welcoming and attentive, taking the time to understand our vision and needs for our kitchen. I would definitely recommend.

Brought a kitchen from wickes in Maldon Essex, was greeted by the lovely Edith, who was professional and friendly the whole way through. Edith helped us design our kitchen and thought of some lovely ideas to include, that we hadn’t even thought about, and it’s really made our kitchen. I am in love with my new kitchen, so got Edith back again to design my salon kitchen :) highly recommend, thankyou again

Edith in maldon Wickes was amazing, very knowledgeable and so helpful to us when we were making decisions! Edith is so warm and friendly and we never felt rushed. Edith took her time in explaining multiple options with us and was patient when deciding between ourselves! We can’t thank or recommend Edith enough!

We visited for a kitchen design appointment with Edith.
We had our times muddled, and arrived early, but Edith happily fitted us in.
She listened to us and planned the perfect kitchen for our needs.
She helped up to choose the units and a worktop and printed out the design for us to take away, with an itemised quote.
Edith was professional, friendly, and very skillful when it came to the design software, making the process quite an easy one for us.
At no point did we feel rushed; Edith was patient and accommodating.
She provided excellent customer service, thank you.

Edith Csizmadia our Design Consultant has been simply AMAZING from start to finish! Totally understood our requirements, came up with brilliant ideas to really make the new kitchen work for us, along with being a warm and friendly face, five star plus service all the way!

Edith was very helpful with making us avoid bad decisions when designing our kitchen layout. She helped us with great ideas and was also considerate of our budget. Sometimes sales persons can feel pushy with expense but this was not the case. Lovely lady and very happy with our experience!

Bathroom and shower design appointment was 1st class, Edith (Maldon branch) arrived on time, explained the options perfectly and then produced designs that matched my requirements. Excellent service and a brilliant experience. So happy with this service

From the very first visit with kitchen design consultant, EDITH CSIZMADIA located in your Maldon, Essex store, everything was most professional. Guided and recommended a kitchen suited best to my house which is fantastic !
Additionally, your contractor, Simon Lee, is an amazing fitter. Delighted with the finished product

Had the pleasure to deal with Edith from Wickes at Maldon when recently looking at Kitchens.
She's was extremely helpful as well as knowledgeable and was a credit to Wickes.
Thoroughly recommend.

Initially all went well , Edith was lovely and very knowledgeable and worked tirelessly to design our bathroom .
The deliverys came in dribs & drabs & was either short delivered or wrong.
Darren our fitter was lovely , trustworthy clean and tidy .
Took a little longer that I thought - 3.5 weeks completion . On the last day the last thing to go in was the bath and Darren noticed a 3 inch crack at the top . It was reported to Mark & Edith at the store & via online customer services . Darren & Mark said it was a manufacturing fault and would get a new one ordered but Darren was starting a new job . For quickness I got a outside company in to repair, fill and ask the crack , customer service asked to see the invoice but was never compensated , the sealant started peeling away , was told it’s not guaranteed but I expected it to last longer than 6 weeks - fitter was sent to reseal.
After spending £10k plus I’m disappointed in the after care from the store and customer services .
The overall quality of the bathroom products are a bit naff , the shower door seals are cheap and nasty and fittings already split
Wish I’d gone with a little independent company rather than a big name like Wickes .

I bought a kitchen Sofia kitchen from the Maldon branch.Edith at the store planned my kitchen and we went for the 2 year interest free credit.All going smoothly, delivery service was great too.
Then Imy fitter started to put the kitchen together, this is where problems occurred.
I had a fault in the pattern on one of my work surfaces,however I only needed 2 as actually was longer than advertised. I had 3 reels of workspace tape which I also didn't need as they came in the price of the work surfaces.I had 2 tall doors covering a beam into an extention, this are too tall and can't close.
My pelmets don't fit as ceiling too low too.
So I contacted the branch on the phone and via email 12 times to be told no refunds.
I find this unbelievable as clearly I have faulty products and products not required.
I called Customer Services to be told they can't help,I must contact the store to sort out.
So I am left with a pile of boxes totalling £700 not needed,in complete resalable condition,not opened at all.
To then be expected to order myself the correct doors/side at my own expense.
Wickes will quote you their "no refund policy" as you sign 3 pages of T&C before you leave,but like most people you sign and go as you are exhausted from being in the store for hours.
I expected more from Wickes as their after service is not acceptable.
I await a 13th email sent this morning as no one ever picks up the phone.
The store is over a hour away and really don't want the inevitable confrontation that would go on in the store.
I just want my kitchen complete and the unwanted items refunded off my finance.
Not too much to ask after spending 7.5k?
I await a response from Wickes before I get legals involved.
